Yeah I don't understand why every Lakers rookie has its own thread on the GB. Seems more appropriate to have that in the SL thread or team forums seeing as no other rookies from other teams besides Taum and maybe one or another has its threads on the GB.

This.

Can this now be merged with the SL thread?

OPs threads aren't great but someone made a thread just for fultz and i didn't see you complain that it should be on the 76ers board. haters gonna hate. at least this thread attempts to involve multiple teams

Fultz is the only rookie from Philly that has a recent thread on the forum.

No team has more threads dedicated to each Lakers rookie on the GB currently than the Lakers. I think it would clog up the GB less if perhaps there was just one thread to talk about all the Lakers rookies or if those were on the team board.

That someone else doesn't have the same outrageous post history as OP. See below

- Kuzma is now a better prospect than Tatum after one game

Not to mention, has an avatar of Durant and Ingram with Ingram being 1A. while Durant being the 1B.

This was Pelinka's guy. He was thrilled he was still on the board.

Lonzo Ball is literally the biggest story in the NBA right now. When the regular season starts, that will change. But, as of this moment, Lonzo Ball is, whether deserved or not, ubiquitous. Naturally, threads will emerge focusing on him and players within his orbit (e.g. Kozma). Do I think that most of the Lonzo Ball related content should be relegated to the Lakers board? Sure. But, as your presence in this thread indicates, Lonzo Ball, and the Lakers more broadly, draw significant interest. Las Vegas Summer League, and in particular Lakers games, are drawing intense fan interest. Indeed, the Jump is doing the halftime show, and the Lakers games are sold out with a number of celebrities among the contingent in attendance. Such is life for the broader NBA fan base when the Lakers are relevant.

Now, when the season starts, and the Lakers are 3-10, the circus will assuredly die down. Right now, the Lakers are ostensibly the main attraction.

This thread (OP and Lakers fans defending him) does nothing to dispel the idea that Lakers fans are currently the most deluded fans in the NBA.

To some people, Las Vegas is basically a suburb of LA.

I exaggerate in saying that, but only by a little bit.

He was watching Tatum before he nails down his best mid-range game of all time.

Having watched him with the Utes, I 100% believed Kuzma was going to be a top 20 pick. He might be a better fit with Ball/Ingram than Randle, IF they can get a better rebounder at PF in the future. Playmaking with Randle and Lopez up front will be great though. But good value there. Also, pump the brakes.

I didnt mind the lakers when it was the kobe era because that man actually lived up to it. Here these losers are going off about lonzo because he got a stat padding triple double while ignoring the poor shooting and shot selection. He is the most overrated player ever based on 2 summer league games + UCLA but not calling him overrated or bust just yet.

Also why havent the mods merged and or locked these threads. I swear I made more relevant thread and it would get locked in 10 seconds. Someone fell asleep here

I think Tatum will soon realize that iso ball won't work for him in the big leagues. He's going to have to expand his range to get anywhere on the court in this league.

I'm not anti Tatum, I've compared Tatum to Kobe...hello. I just saw Kuzma shine over Tatum and he's a 27th pick.

I like Kuzma but settle down bud.

How did RingDontLie feel about Russell? You know the last point guard the Lakers took at #2?

Generational talent?

Same guy predicted Westbrook to be a journeyman at age 30.
Same guy who called Ingram the next Durant or MJ.
Same guy who claimed Zubac shouldve been a top 3 pick.
Same guy who said he would trade Russell for anyone but Durant.

So...

Well I found this...

I agree, too short of a sample size to really say. But great shooting ability opens up the lane, and opens up many opportunities. I will say from day one before the draft, Russell makes the game look easy. He passed the eye test for me, and when I think of Russell I think of other skilled players that make the game look so dang easy, namely, Steve Nash and Magic Johnson. Not saying he'll ever be Magic, lol. I'm just saying they have that special "feel for the game" that is rare...it's not mechanical, it's something you were born with. That's why I thought Russell was the better pick over Towns.

Rest of the stuff that came up in search was actually without much of a hyperbole 8-)
