Re: PLAY IN | (8) WARRIORS VS. (9) GRIZZLIES
I’m still in favor of the play-in game being gone btw.
It’s BS how the Warriors earned the 8th spot over a 72 game season just to get knocked out over a 2 day stretch.

Curry played well, but at the end of the day, the opposing PG went off (even though Curry wasn’t the one defending him for the most part, but that’s part of the problem).
When you’re a superstar and you play the Lakers the way you played them the other day (even with LeBron clearly not 100% at all), you don’t lose to the Grizzlies (no offense Grizz fans) at home. You’re the leader. You get the praise, and you get the hate.
Steph Deserves all the praise and none of the blame. He was a bit loose with the ball, had 7 turnovers, but look who he's playing with.
He was doubled teamed basically entire 4th and OT. Draymond airballed a game winning layup. Wiggins airballed a wide open 3. Jordan Poole dribbles it off his foot out of bounds etc.
Without Steph, I don't know what the Warriors are except hot garbage.
No one’s claiming he wasn’t great, like I said, he played well. But first of all, the game consists of offense AND defense. Secondly, seven turnovers is a ton, and it’s not all on his teammates. He played loose with the ball vs the Lakers, and he has a history of being loose with the ball in big games.

We've seen players w horrible supporting casts...Steph didn't get it done.

Curry with seven turnovers. That is ridiculously bad.

Ummm. If you can’t say he has the worst supporting cast then maybe you should stop watching basketball. Dude does more for his team than anyone in the league right now
Draymond Green alone precludes him from having the “worst supporting cast.”
They should have traded Wiseman for a current player who could have helped and they wouldn’t be an 8th seed most likely.
I'm afraid they ride it out with Wiseman and a not-top-four rookie. Oh, and Wiggins.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Wiggins/Wolves Pick/Dubs Pick/Wiseman should get you something.
Should've offered that for James Harden...they'd be making a Finals run instead of going fishing.

He's still useful and fairly good, though in clutch situations you'd want to go to him as a last resort.
Amazing that a perimeter NBA player can miss a 3 pointer that bad

So the other night vs the Lakers, Draymond was still the best defender in the league, and tonight, it’s back to “worst supporting cast”. Okay.
His team shouldn't of even sniffed the playoffs and he played decent. You guys are weirdos with the Curry hate.

I mean they were the 8th seed they just lost a game.
I still think they are more than just Klay away from being a contender but nevertheless losing a game despite technically being the 8th seed isn’t a big deal.

Wow you're really defending him? He's basically the reason Warriors lost that game and not make the playoffs. He was airballing and missing wide open shots and layups. Draymond probably wants to kick his nuts

Curry with a bunch of turnovers and terrible defense. I didn't see any dancing this game either for some odd reason.. enjoy golfing bro and hope Klay is at least 70 percent of what he was.
