Jokic is still great in the clutch overall but did struggle at times vs the T-Wolves. I’d prefer Doncic with the game on the line.

Idk if he’s better overall, and think it’s very close and debatable.

Again 14 points in that game 7 4th quarter. Last 2 minutes he had 2 buckets in the paint, assist to Jamal and drew 2 free throws and made both. He was 2 for 5 from 3 in the quarter and had only one missed 3 pointer in the last 9 minutes.

Seems you have no idea what you've been watching

You don’t know actually cus you can’t differentiate player skillsets from numbers. Jokic bricked 2-10 from threes during the pivotal Game 7. He can’t take over the game as a pure scorer the way Doncic can. When was the last time he had a game winner in the final seconds the way Doncic has done several times? That’s how you define who’s the most clutch.

Being a perimeter oriented forward Doncic has a scoring skillset particularly with shooting off the dribble, step back etc that a bigger center like Jokic isn’t capable of.

It isn’t a crime, Jokic is still arguably the best player, but he’s not perfect and he does have limitations.

In high leverage moments over the last seasons, Jokic scores 50.4 per 100 on 62.4% TS while Luka scored 39.9 points on 59.4% TS

Thank you for the stats. He also said Jokic struggled "late in games" but apparently wasn't referring to the 4th quarter. He's also hit several game winners this year, clutch bucks on Noth this and last year's playoff runs etc..

This first quarter is prime example of what I’m talking about. You can tell who doesn’t really understand the game and regurgitates random advanced stats and those who know what they’re watching.

The reality is Doncic’s stats in Game 7s and also following a playoffs loss are otherworldly and ungodly also but I don’t need to waste any time digging them up.

It’s obvious to anyone who’s followed his career from day one - as a 21 y/o kid dominating a far far superior Clippers team, doing the same at age 22, going to the WCF with a crappy team 2 years ago, etc.

Luka is not only easily the most clutch player in the league and capable of scoring in a way Jokic isn’t - he might very well be the best player in the league.

I do love how you cite the Mavericks taking a very good Clippers team to 6, but you don't mention how the Nuggets beat the same team in the next round lol

Regular season MVPs or not, if Luka wins a ring, in the court of public opinion he'll be ranked ahead of Jokic.

Historically fans have latched on to star wings more than Big men.
