Kawhi is something elese, he is strong, players cant stop him going to his spot. I think Lebron is one of the few players who can really bother Kawhi in their matchups that Ive seen . Cause hes as strong and he doesnt fall for his fakes and counters.

The entire team sucked. Unbelievable meltdown.

They should have fired Malone sooner. They have bad habits and it's catching up to them now.

Tonight was a disgrace.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Don’t think there is excuses. They fired their coach a week ago ? This team is not a contender, never was. Can’t play Watson, Pickett in the playoffs. I think most Denver fans would be surprised if they made it past the Clippers.

Honestly, if the nuggets lose it’s not a big deal. They need a major roster shakeup.

Ah I see what you were saying now, I misunderstood. I do agree that Jokic will likely end up with the better series overall.

I think Jokic is the best player this series. The way he is defended is vastly different.

Jokic is the best player of both teams but after that name the next 4 or 5 best players. They would be on the Clippers not to mention the Nuggets bench is non existent and irrelevant.

It's not going to make any difference if Denver stops throwing the ball away and hits a few free throws.

Everything was clear tonight.

Clippers threw the ball away 20 times in game 1 and Denver needed OT to beat them by 2. This is a ridiculous take. Westbrook is the 6th man in Denver - this is not a recipe for success. The only reason Denver has a legitimate chance of taking this series is because Jokic is an all time great talent. Otherwise, Clippers would be the easy pick.

If you remove the best player from a team then they probably lose

yeah thats how that works

Thats bull. Kawhi plays both sides. How about that? Jokic certainly saves his energy for one end.

And kawhi draws a lot of attention and has no problem getting off of it creating good looks for teammates.

And idk if you heard but...board man gets paid.

Um, what? KL is also their best wing defender, and had the go ahead steal to win the game.

That’s not what I said. I don’t think there is any player in this league outside Jokic that gives this group a chance to beat the Clippers.

He was good second half but horrendous defensively in the first.

Of course.

If anyone was defended like Jokic their output would drop dramatically.

Adelman knows what is coming and guys have to be ready to make plays.

I love Kawhi but there's no universe where he could lead a playoffs in PTS, REB and AST like Jokic did. And he's not defended like Jokic, either.

Nope. The intensity started halfway through the second.

Cant dunk it for Gordon or prevent Braun from basically airballing a three when he’s got a good look at it. I do agree that he wasn’t great though. Had some bad turnovers, missed FT’s including a really bad turnover late.

And there is no way Jokic could ever lead a team as their best offensive and defensive player like Kawhi can.

Jokic’s defense outside of one quarter has been very good this series. Clips are managing an ORTG that’s well below their RS average.

Jokic is involved in nearly every defensive and offensive possession and also expected to be a monster on the boards while also playing 40+ minutes every game. The load he has compared to Kawhi’s is night and day.
