every game is blood, sweat and tears. it has turned to tortutre instead of excitement especially after game 1. I say myself I won't set an alarm for the game, just wake up and look at the score and get it over with my but can't resist.

That's why I am mad at KAT, he has this potential but either the cheap fauls or he just mentally disappears and settle for jump shots only. He can be and he should be as dominant as the last quarter (or game 1) for Knicks to complete the comeback.

Shaq always says it’s about the others…wright shamet now, hopefully they especially wright continues to get some minutes in this series.

100% my thoughts. he could literally be the best, most unstoppable big in the league (except jokic ofc). But soemtimes he seems to check out and coast around.

The Knicks are getting exposed as massive frauds once again.

I don’t understand this mindset. It’s the same stupid **** we heard in the previous series with Cleveland. In fact we hear it all the time.

Why is it that when one team loses, they’re frauds? We can see what’s happening out there with our eyes. Why is this always the conclusion we draw to?

Or better yet: why is it so hard to give opposing teams more credit for playing great? Why isn’t this a matter of the Pacers just being that good? They’re playing excellent defense, hitting their shots, executing at a high level, but for some reason it’s “the Knicks are frauds”.

We have all watched enough Knicks to know that Brunson and Thibs love their iso ball. There is very limited creativity when it comes to offense, Brunson would be so much better off ball which he shows quite often, but he falls into those moments of dribbling for 16 seconds far too often. When the team moves it around, it’s a thing of beauty, it just doesn’t happen often, and that is on a combination of Thibs & Brunson

Knicks showed they can be champs

Pacers will still win this series. Knicks threw the series away with that game 1 choke, which is something you cannot do in matchup where the teams are damn near even.

Here's my take from this game. With Brunson and KAT in foul trouble, and up 20 at home, this was definetly a favorable game for the Pacers to win, but the Nesmith injury really shook them mentally, resulted in some bizarre lineups (TJM/Sheppard/Mathurin), and Indy's offense in the end was "let's pass, pump fake, pass, and give the ball to Turner with 3 secs to go". Hali and Nembhard in particular wanted nothing with those last shots, letting the injured Nesmith take a contested floater with the game on the line. The Pacers were still one in-and-out three from potentially winning the game but it doesn't matter.

As for the Knicks, I think their adjustments worked for the most part and KAT silenced all the haters, even though he had a bonehead first half he was just unstoppable in the 4th and he's the reason why they got back and won the game.

Game 4 will be really interesting, if the Pacers win they most likely advance, if they lose its a brand new series. But really the same thing happened against the Bucks and Cavs, there's a reason why sweeps are rare, and I also think we haven't seen yet the "game in the series the Pacers don't miss", so while I'm concerned, I still have confidence the Pacers can win and advance.

The Knicks have a problem of not getting Kat the ball. Maybe because Thibs sucks on offense and Brunson is not a real point guard. Even when Kat was on fire, they almost froze him out a few times.

I mean yeah he could be like Shaq and demand the ball but he obviously doesn't have that type of personality. If you have an offensive talent like him you should be maximizing him.

just watched this morning, dang what a comeback. why is KAT still so far from the basket? unless you have Gobert or possibly Jokic you probably can’t body him in the post. Horford is still playing high lvl defense and can’t stop him.

Here's all he has to do.. starting line up doesn't matter. As soon as Indy starts getting frisky bring in Wright, Shamet, Mcbride play them with Kat and Bridges. Play Brunson and Mitch together exclusively because Mitch can switch on PnR and rim run. He's got to play two different units. At the end of the game get the ball to Brunson to close it. Instruct Brunson to distribute the ball in the early parts of the game to get OG, Bridges, and KAT going.

I like a lot of that but I also think pairing Brunson with one of Deuce or Wright as much as we can to beat the press is paramount. Those two are also better at feeding the KAT and guarding the Pacers wings.

Having Mikal or Hart bring up the ball seemed to solve that pretty well. Indy is cool bringing two to press, but they weren't willing to press with 3 guys

KAT has a huge impact on the game even without the ball. We go to him often enough...when he's not in foul trouble *sigh*...but even when we don't having him out there spacing just breaks defenses for the rest of the crew.
