Siakam was better than anyone on that Mavs team besides Dirk. That team was old as ****. The Heatles were also a way better team than the Thunder. Their core were all veterans in their primes. Wade already had a title and FMVP and LeBron had been to the Finals. This OKC roster doesn't have comparable talent or experience.

Heat had TWO players TWO TIERS ABOVE SGA in Wade and King.

So yea 2011 Mavs still a better team and upset. Both those teams were much more expereinced too. Dirk, Kidd, Marion, Lebron, Wade all were playoff vets at that point.

Both of these Pacer and OKC teams are same level - both with little experience really who are going for their first championship.

Would pacers be better if they traded any starter for a washed up jason kidd or shawn marion? No way. It's completely disengenious to say Mavs had future HOF's when those players were both no longer HOF level players well past their primes.

It's like Jokic must be bad becuase he can't win with future HOF Westbrook while Haliburton isn't playing with any Hall of Famers, guess Jokic has the better teammates.

Yes Kidd and Marion were past primes but they still had a big impact on the series and their experience played a factor.
If the Mavs were to play the Pacers in a series the Mavs would win.

That was an actually convincing win by the Pacers. They're legit. I was wrong, the series is up in the air. Very impressed by their defense tonight.

Still going with OKC in 6, but Indy has played beyond my expectations for sure.
