Okay maybe I can throw you a small bone.
I believe NYC is making progress on testing sites.
Not sure I think I saw it on the news. Somebody may have posted not sure. I have no details.
Testing is ramping up! The problem is that we're not going to see results from social distancing for a few weeks. So more bad numbers to come and things are already looking pretty grim at hospitals in NY.
Well we are one week into some heavy social distancing. That is good news. It is also good news that so many companies are starting to shift production towards manufacturing PPE. I also love the way GM, Ford, and Tesla have begun working on ventilators. 3M also has just shipped 500,000 n95 masks to Seattle and NY, with more to come. We are all in this together.

Trump should reach across the isle publicly in a presser tomorrow. Plead with both parties to sacrifice for the American people. Explain that the future of our country literally depends on it. We are at a crossroads of another depression. No time for politics. Time to come together and SURVIVE together.

In case you were wondering what Trump is worried about at the moment:
Strike for politically derailing. No more posts about politics or Trump, it's all very clear in the OP.

Not so sure why some of you are so worried if our raw numbers are surpassing theirs. Just based on population you should expect that. Where you need to be concerned is ICU rates. As long as we have enough beds, we will not look like Italy. The US also has this thing called the military that is much larger than Italy's that it can deploy and we have a few more ventilators than Italy.
I'm not saying we should not be concerned, but focusing on raw numbers is a bit silly when a country is not as populous.

Passing a bill that bails out companies without guaranteeing they don’t fire employees, or without expanding UI benefits, or gives the treasury secretary a half trillion dollar fund that doesn’t have to face accountability for 6 months, is ridiculous. A better bill is required, one that actually helps people. Donald Trump of all people has neither the ideas or policies to help people, or the credibility to get them to make a deal. This is not a both parties problem. What exactly do you think democrats should “sacrifice” here? Democrats capitulating to that trash bill just to get something passed isn’t going to help people.
Oddly enough, Bernie Sanders has a great set of ideas that would help a lot. Maybe Republican senators should listen to him.

What far left talking points? Is Boris Johnson far left? His government is pushing the right support by paying wages directly, along with Denmark and Austria. This isn’t a left/right thing. It’s a “what will actually work” thing. I’m sorry, but I’ve heard that facts don’t care about your feelings.

I watched my father take his final breaths, via Skype, yesterday morning. If your sister is still being pressured to go to work despite the severity of current events, tell her it’s not worth it.

When reality becomes talking points we have an issue. The current bill is not going to pass and the factual reasons are there. If you dislike reality i dont know what to tell you. This bill has no oversight? that alone is dead on arrival. Again if you have have problems with reality take that some where else before your post get deleted. This bill as it stands has major issues. Denying that makes no sense. Since when does stating what a bill lacks becomes an attack ?

I guess Trump still has OAN.
Strike 1 for politically charged comment.
You are fully aware that OAN is a far right opinion channel and you are fully aware that the mods have made numerous announcements that everyone needs to STAY CLEAR from politics. You aren't even replying to someone, you are escalating the discussion. Stop it. - Ken

isn't that also related to common flu symptoms? Even when I have a simple cold I can't smell/taste anything.
