Look like Jokic is starting to lose some steam. Still early though

Yes, he lost some steam by having a 38/19/8 game 2 days ago.

Right now it's Embiid, Haliburton and Tatum at the top, with Jokic and SGA next.
Jokic performed better w/o Murray but much worse supporting cast than he's doing now, I know he's still huge + on/off, but still, the team is losing a lot.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

KD is missing his second game. How many games can you miss before you can’t win the award?

Once you miss over 9 games then you start to get availability questions

Gianni’s is clear mvp. I’m a Celtic fan but anyone saying Tatum rn shouldn’t talk basketball anymore. Tatum has been extremely inconsistent

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

I'm higher on Giannis for MVP vs most but what's the case for Giannis over Jokic?

About as clear as a windshield during a hale storm.

Giannis has zero case for MVP right now.

You can argue Jokic. No problem with either tbh

Jokic first. And then it’s a battle for second.

But we are just 15 games in. Anything can change.

Excluding the game he was ejected (14 mins played), Jokic since Murray went down:

32/15/10 on 61% True shooting (low for Jokic, because he's shooting horrifically from 3 during that stretch, just 26%)
Jokic 5x MVP train

This is true. I’m a huge Jokic supporter but even his case is a little murky right now with his team struggling.

I suppose it’s a little harsh of me to say that Giannis has zero case but there is no clear picture right now. My top 5 is Jokic/Embiid/Hali/Tatum/Shae but it can all change so fast.

I think Tatum and Joker are tier 1. Embiid is tier 2. SGA, Durant, Giannis and Hali are tier 3.

In what world is Tatum in Tier 1 over Embiid?

Embiid and the Celtics have a similar record, Embiid is playing far more consistently, and has taken his game another notch with his passing.

Embiid also doesn't have 3 potential all stars flanking him.

With Hali- Giannis- Embiid - KD - SGA and Tatum are right there -

Hali and SGA are playing insanely well….

Haliburtons stats - 50-40-90 with 25 points 12 assist 2.5 TO He ain’t taking a ton of shots either -

Fox, Curry, Luka and Lebron are going to be on people’s ballots because how can you not consider these guys - Lebron and Luka looking like they having the same year they always have and Curry is keeeping a ship with tons of holes a float - plus you gotta love Fox lighting the Beam!

I have to reward Tatum since they have the number 1 seed. They’re the best team in basketball imo and he’s the clear best player on the Celtics.

He is the most inconsistent of the MVP candidates. The best team in basketball are 1-1 with the Sixers this year.
