Nah. You guys were unwilling to come off wiggins let alone one of the picks you guys had... :)

yes and I thought it was insane to not go get Siakam....he was perfect to run with Curry/Dray/Klay.

personally I think it's because he's over 6-6 8-)

Siakam chose Indy. He said that's where he wanted to go. Given that he was a free agent in a couple months, that means he could pick his destination. No team is trading for a guy that says he wants to be elsewhere and can leave soon.

Yeaaaah but it's different when the 2 games to go 0-2 are your own home games.

It's still not impossible, but it's much harder that way.

It was posted a few pages ago, but no one has lost the first 2 home games in the conference finals and come back to win it.

Knicks losing these two games means they need to make history.

Pacers made history 3 times already this year. It's not over until it's over

It's also a fit thing. Warriors would have slotted Pascal into the role that KD had. On both ends. Warriors should've given up more to get him. Everyone trying to talk down Raptors' talent and wanting to get them for cheap like we're some dumb hicks lost in the city. You still can't find a PF/SF who fits that role. There ain't that many. All the good ones I've seen coming out of college they've all gone in the top 3 picks.

You'd think after losing a finals where Siakam was the #2 guy the Warriors FO would have seen it but anyway we got another title after the Raps beat us so I am not gonna get too grumpy about it.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Thibs needs to seriously not give Payne any minutes.. he's been atrocious. Either play Wright or use Deuce as the back up 1 and not the back up 2.

Next.. Brunson needs to think pass first and get all his teammates involved and look to take over in the 4th quarter.. he'll be fresher.

This next adjustment is a little more radical and not going to happen.. he needs to start Mitch instead of Towns but play Towns more minutes. It'll prevent Indiana from targeting Towns so much because they won't have their best personnel to do it some of the time.

The Knicks also need to stop forgetting about Briidges late in the 4th quarter and they need to showcase him.

further.. defending Indy more physicallyand putting them on the line more isn't such a bad idea because it'll slow them down a little.. bring Wright in and Shamet just to play physically and hack.

They really need to focus on winning game 3 and 5 and then deal with the more difficult tasks of beating indy two times in a row after they've won a game or two.

Welp series is over. Impressive **** from the Pacers. Crazy the Knicks have only improved in health and players since last year where they were up 2-0 almost easily before the injuries and still got it to 7, now a year later where the Pacers roster hasn't changed much at all and they are whipping the Knicks ass

Knicks were built to beat Celtics I guess but not Pacers

I think you can call the OKC-Wolves series over. Not this one. Games been close.
I said it could be over and the record for teams going up 2-0 in the Conference Finals is nothing to hone about: Those teams are 76-6.

So is there still a chance, albeit a slim one? Sure.

Yeah I know. statistically it is over. Carlisle is out-coaching Thibs for the moment. I can see Indy getting this in 4 or 5. This thing can turn on its head too and I wouldn't be shocked. It would be INSANE but that's what this series been.

As a Knicks fan, all props go to the Pacers, absolutely thoroughly outplaying us tonight and fighting back the way yall did in game 1.

There’s nothing us Knicks fans can complain about outside of our team and coaching staff.

We have always been anti-tank, yes, but we also aren't the team that usually trades for All-Stars. Going aggressively for a guy like Siakam wasn't something we usually do. But it definitely worked out excellently.
Was it aggressive tho? 3 frps, 2 of which we already knew were bad, one in 26 that's also likely bad. Kept all your young guys.

Basically sacrificed nothing to get an allstat

You perfectly summarized it. Seriously. This is such a simple straightforward concept to understand yet so many are still repeating this nonsense that the series isn't over.

The Pacers roster is the same, but they still aren't the same. Siakam was a mid season pickup. He's now had a training camp and offseason to get involved. Haliburton is healthy, he wasn't last playoffs. Nesmith is better. Nembhard is better defensively.

They're just better as a team. They're 50-20 in their last 70 games, including the playoffs. They were never that good at any point last season. We have said that to Bucks fans, Cavs fans and now Knicks fans. Nobody wanted to listen.

The key was the KAT trade. They got rid of iHart who was a great defensive big in favor of KAT. This is kind of weird in hindsight, considering that a healthy Randle could have reproduced 70% of KAT's impact on the floor

NFL can market national games for a team in god-forsaken places like BUFFALO. Which is 3x smaller than Indy or OKC, NBA should be able to market Indy-OKC Finals.

IDk why the NBA has issues with this. It's silly to. Me. It's all about marketing.

The NFL doesn't hv this isuee. Hell! Look at all the small markets in that league that draws well and very successful. Kansas City Chiefs Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Pitt Steelers, Cincy, Bengals , New Orleans Saints, Minn Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indy Colts, Jacksonville Jags, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, etc.

The big market NY Jets have been a joke for decades and haven't been in the playoffs for a decade and a half. Last won a Super Bowl in 1969!
Same for the Chicago Bears, they stink and haven't won a SB since 1985.
