They're playing like this because they're facing elimination at home. They have great fans. OKC will have the same advantage.

OKC fans loudness and being into the game doesn’t come close to this Pacers fans

I’m sorry but they don’t , OKC have prob 3 rd worse atmosphere in their arena maybe just a tad better than Bucks and Heat

Per AI:
The oldest NBA head coach to coach in the NBA Finals is Larry Brown, who was 63 years old when he coached the Detroit Pistons to victory in the 2004 NBA Finals. He is also the only coach to win both an NCAA and NBA title.

Phil Jackson in 2010 was 64

2016 and 2010 too.
2013

2005 came down to the wire. Like literally every game 7 has been great for 30 years.

Game 7 NBA Finals you mean, generally (all playoffs) Game 7s is what was disappointing. But yes, we hope that's not true for the OKC-IND game and we also have a close game

Last 3 NBA Finals G7s:

2016 - Cavs beat Warriors, 93-89
2013 - Heat beat Spurs, 95-88
2010 - Lakers beat Celtics, 83-79

Siakam had an excellent defensive game. He took the challenge on SGA and J-Dub and locked them down. It looked like Nesmith was going to get fricaseed again, but Siakam got the switch, OKC offense went MIA and the rout was on. He might need a 30+ performance in Game 7 to bring it home, but dude has done it for his squad.

Thought it was kind of odd too. I thought one of Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich, Larry Brown, or surely Red Auerbach was older……maybe I’m getting old and my time perception is messing with me

Umm Pascal?

TJ has been great but how many minutes is he even playing like 17mpg? How can you give the FMVP to a guy who doesn't play that much and doesn't finish games?
