The guy turns the worst team in the league into the best team in the league when he steps on the court.

You would think it would add to more wins though if he stays on the floor more. It's not like any of the teams in the West are juggernauts loaded with talent. For him being in his prime and having the numbers that he has, you'd expect more than him hovering around the .500 mark. It's also weird that his minutes have gown down compared to last year.

I mean he played 37 mins the other night, more then enough for a regular season game… and his team was up 5. In the 11 mins he didn’t play they scored 7 points and were a -28. Playing him more mins just risks wear and tear before the post season… Malone has to work on his rotations, can’t just leave the second rotation out there to get cooked every night

I was talking about his overall minutes that have gone down, in a situation where his team obviously needs him to be more on the floor.

Nobody wants it this year, they might give the award to Kyle Kuzma.

you need to look at Denver rotation....Jokic plays almost all time with starters against other teams mixed units and Denver second unit is so negative b/c they play against mixed units too.

Jokic 1201min
playing time with Jokic
Gordon 953min (79%)
Moriss 933min (78%)
Barton 835min (70%)

for example

Curry 1376min
playing time with Curry
Wiggs 873min (63%)
Green 774min (56%)
Poole 578min (42%)

Jokic/Morris/Gordon/Barton 603min +8.3netrtg
Curry/Green/Poole/Wiggs 459min +12.7netrtg

Jokic played only 74min (6%) w/o Morris/Gordon/Barton
Curry played 311min (23%) w/o Green/Wiggs/Poole

Jokic should win MVP but he won't.

Looks like it's going to be one of those years where no one wins majority, only plurality.

Barton and Morris are starters as much as Looney is.

Bucks are 16-3 when GA/KM/JH all play. What's really shocking is they have only played 19 out of 46 games together. Even if that is just 29 out of 46 games Bucks are probably 1 seed in the East now and GA is the easy frontrunner.

Everyone has to deal with injuries this year,

Missing Jrue Holiday is no excuse for losing to the Hornets twice and the Raptors.

I didn't realize how close the Sixers are to a top 3 seed.

Based on the way they are playing if the secure a top seed doesn't it have to be Embiid?

Steph's scoring is probably going to go down with Klay back and in aggressive scoring mode, an improved Wiggins (best FG% and 3P% of his career by a lot — even without Klay spacing), and now Kuminga taking on a lot of Draymond's minutes and putting up a decent amount of shots. But his assists will probably start going up.

Embiid making moves. He needs to stay healthy so he doesn't get disqualified from the race for missing too many games.

Good to see him playing so well.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Dude had 50 today. At this point it's inevitable if it's a top 3 seed. No one has a better narrative.

He’s gotta be the front runner after a performance like this, he was already playing at a ridiculously high level and now he’s upped the ante.
