Except that team was by far the best in the league before Malone went down, and still made it to the Finals, where Malone's knee acted up. Malone's injuries was a fluke, and not due to age.

I'm loving this trade for the Sixers...great trade. Too bad the Rockets can't offer the same value to get Bynum... by the current standard Martin+White+Char 2nd rd pick should've been enough. lawl.

No...Nash is one of the best ball distributer of all time. Dwight can average 16 points and still be their MVP as well. They will have much more chemistry than the 04 Lakers.

You too, Philly. you just turned a -7 win offseason into a positive one. i expect Miami, Indiana, and Brooklyn get more regular season wins than you - #4 seed's a nice step up! (You're better than Brooklyn in a playoff series context, too. They're just really good for the regular season.)

Metta has to start - better against Durant and Lebron, which are the two series that matter. regular season wins don't matter, just getting the rotation right.
Oklahoma City just found a reason to keep Perkins. can't deadline-dump him now.
Chris Bosh continues to be the catalyst in whether Miami can win. If he can survive at C in a LA series I think Miami wins on sheer force of Lebron - if Howard eats him and they have to throw out a crap big to guard Howard, they're doomed.
