MCW - 19 pts, 12 asts, 3 rebs. 2nd double-double in as many games since he's been back from injury.

CJ McCollum has been cleared to play. Rookie survey showed him to be a favorite for ROY along with Oladipo.

His turnovers, to me, have been his most impressive stat all season long. I'm so relieved the Jazz picked up this stud. After summer league, I'd be lying if i said I wasn't a little scared that we may have picked up a bust. He's the reason the Jazz have as many wins as they do, they'd still be the worst team in the league if it wasn't for Trey. :)

Very impressed with the extension MCW gets on his drives. Dude plays real long.

Ben finally had a decent game after a week or two of mediocre play.

Mediocre?

Should I have said horrible?
He had a 5 game stretch where he shot 1-7, 1-8, 1-6, 1-4, and 2-10...

Agreed. Plus he is an explosive athlete when he needs to be (aka the dunk). He had a 40-inch vert at the combine. Like how he's coming along

Trey Burke with a solid 20 tonight, including clutch shots.

3 points next game probably.
Jazz on your face.

How did MCW get so over looked? Now it's becoming very apparent, the kid is talented. Won't say he's the best player from this draft, but he probably should of been at least top 5

MCW would be my #2 guy, I think. 1) Giannis, 2) MCW, 3) Oladipo.

Think the guy is pretty good actually. They had to shut him down in order to tank

Also, 12 assist on 2 turnovers.

Im surprised MCW was overlooked heading into the draft. I know he struggled with his jumper a bit but you could tell his game was tailor made for NBA play. Big, quick, wiry strong, and extremely athletic he just had no room to roam in college. Plus a lot of his on ball skills defensively were hidden in that 2-3 zone, but he still was a force defensively which showed what kind of defensive talent he had. In fact i was pro MCW to Portland until he pretty much said he didn't want to go there because he was a pg and they already had a pg.

Gotta say Giannis is clearly the most impressive considering my expectations for the guy. I thought he was 2 years away from even playing but he is clearly more skilled than i and many others expected

Every year a player is over looked like that. In 2012 Damien Lillard was drafted 6th. In 2011 Klay Thompson was drafted 11th. Going back to the 1998 draft Paul Pierce was the 10th pick.

some Giannis HLs from last night. Note he barely touches the ball on offense still.

It's kind of funny to go back to the start of this thread, most of the comments were saying how MCW will suck, be a bust, next Kendall Marshall, etc :D

To be fair, I don't think any of us expected this including me, a sixers fan.

I'm also very surprised at Burke, he looked very horrible in the summer league.

My 3 man raise for ROTY was VO, Burke and CJM. Sadly CJM got injured again. If not, I think it would have been those three and MCW who I didn't expect to be this good so quickly.

CJM is way behind now though. But he already had a polished game so he should pick things up quickly.

MCW missing all those game and then coming back and dropping 12 assists and 19 pts. Going to be hard to catch.

FWIW, Chad Ford just stated in a chat that if they redid the draft, he feels it would go Giannis, Oladipo, MCW 1-3.
