That’s getting ejected from Detroit too. Indiana has played 2 less game so far. Hali could be close?

I mean...it's a long season but Hali is at like 12 APG and Jokic at about 9 - that's alot of ground to cover

might seem like not so much but it's not like Hali is going to have like 1-2-3-4 asists games, his floor is pretty high :)

To qualify for the scoring title, a player must appear in at least 58 games (out of 82). However, a player who appears in fewer than 58 games may qualify as annual scoring leader if his point total would have given him the greatest average, had he appeared in 58 games.

Happened to Myles Turner with the blocks title, he didn't play enough games, but his BPG would still be the best if you assume 0 blocks had he played enough, so he won it.

Embiid has done it all- but close the deal when it mattered

I have no problem with Jokic or Giannis being rated higher than Embiid. Tatum on the other hand, just lol.

a rare occasion on which we agree :)

Either way,...I’m not disagreeing that Embiid is having another stellar year, I’m simply stating if all things equal, or even if Embiid is playing better than everyone else, the voters not picking him because of how last year went.

Remember guys - we had big perk make it racial to ensure that Jokic wouldn’t win it and then Jokic went on to with the FMVP and have one of the best playoffs Eva Eva...

If Jokic stays right where he is at stat wise and the nuggets a top 3 seed...it’s big YJoke! Before considering Embiid

If Giannis in first with better stats it’s gonna be close between him and The current king before considering Embiid

If Tatum or Luka or SGA or Edwards or Zion or any of their tier close they gonna look for a chance to pass the guard to the next generation of Megastars before considering Embiid

If Haliburton keeps this up it could be a rose type situation where they reward the insanity if what he producing
If Haliburtonn

imagine signing up to realgm with the user name "Chokic" on Mar 30, 2023... and then he wins the championship as the -obvious- finals MVP less than 3 months later

That's a good statline and all, but for a 2023-2024 MVP discussion it's really not much imho.

You could probably name 6-7 guys ahead of him easily.

Elite impact

a center shooting less then 50% from the field as MVP?
i cant really remember a top3 center last 20 years with a FG that low

Last year the main argument for him winning the MVP for most people was Jokic lack of success in the playoffs. Then he wins the MVP and chokes the 3-2 lead vs Celtics while having a biggest drop in points as MVP in history. LOL

Embiid's True Shooting % is fine you weirdo. Its good even while Embiid is on a cold streak in regards to 3 point shooting

This is so original, I've never seen this before. Now do a compilation of where he gets hacked by 3 players, and nothing is called, or when he gets contact and goes to the line. 95% of his calls are legit and ya'll focus on the 5%. The reddit mentality of this board is hilarious.

both of us know the reason for that is the number of free throws he gets per game, and he makes them with high %
He still makes 49% of his shots from the field, and that for a center is BAD.
show me the last top center that shot similar % from the field...

Telling us you don’t watch him play without telling us you don’t watch him play. He shoots a lot from the top of the key.
