Yeah, I can't really believe they called that on Turner. Hopefully we earn this win with a more commanding performance in the next one, but I said the Pacers would be a tougher series than the 6ers were and they showed why tonight.

I'll give you the kick but phantom foul? The Pacers challenged that call and it couldn't be overturned. It was a lot of contact, you can't hedge on a screen. Usually doesn't get called when star big men do it though.

When you flop, there isn’t a foul.

When you sell a call, there is a foul and you exaggerate the contact.

Pacers had the Knicks in the penalty with 5:30 left in the 4th and didn't take advantage, thats why they lost. Refs gifted them the free throw line and they didn't use it since they hardly drive, all from soft calls on the Knicks.

Knicks got some lucky calls at the end though for sure.

I hate the knicks as much as the next guy but this was absolutely not on the refs. The Turner call was iffy but everything else was legit.

No way - the Hali foul they had to challenge and lose a fastbreak and then the kick ball. Huge swings there.

I mean, the league has a chance at a Celtics/Knicks conference finals. Expecting the refs to call it down the middle is a little unrealistic, and I say that as someone who doesn’t care who wins this series. That’s what the NBA is.

And in this NBA you have to sell it. Players that are too strong and don't sell it like Julius Randle and others who drive and are strong, routinely get screwed over by the refs because they power through the foul calls and so the refs don't even call it.
