Honestly I think he has been playing well

Did we watch the same game?

I have been critical of Embiid but I don’t know what people expect of him. He is best used when the game is slowed down and they play through him but that is not going to happen on this team. The fact he is playing great defense and rebounding is a good game for him right now.

Yeah he's been fine. We can live with that. Just don't be a ball-stopper and at least try to play defense.

Yea, I thought second quarter Embiid was fine and it wasn’t like Tatum or curry were really lighting it up, so I wouldn’t say Embiid was our primary problem like he’s been in other games. To your point, he needs to just hustle, play defense and keep the ball moving.

Actually, Tatum has 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He's playing pretty good.

Yea. I just looked at the box score and both Tatum and curry have been solid. Just felt a bit different watching, but that’s why you don’t just rely on your eyes lol.

I feel like people are searching for scapegoats in a 20 point lead. People just need to realize on this stacked team everyone can’t be stars.

Defensively he has been allright. But on offense he can't be used in the way you're describing it cause the teams tries to run different sets without him being the hub and focal point. He just seems to have a hard time adjusting his game.

He needs to pass the ball quicker, has to look for open shooters and should only take high percentage shots.
Booker and Tatum - also two high level scorers - have done a way better job at adjusting their roles.

The ball is different - the panels are different than the NBA one, that might put some of the players off.

Ball movement is much better this game with both lineups. It's not sticking in anyones hands as much and everyone is getting their touches and shots. I like it.

It's crazy. It feels like he's missed more wide-open 3s this summer than he will in a couple of NBA months.

Yea, even though curry just missed that three, the ball movement was better. Booker got doubled off the screen, passed back to Embiid, and Embiid didn’t hold it. Embiid has to get used to keeping it moving in those situations.

Embiid is the new face of the league.

Guy is like the only athlete in the Olympics who is getting boo'd.

He's getting LeBron decision type hate. That's when you know this guy is different.

Also explains the daily hate threads we get. Ladies and gentlemen we found our guy.

America is such an odd term to me, as a citizen of the United States.

There are 23 countries in North America and then another 12 countries in South America.

I understand in the world, of those 35 countries the US are most commonly thought of as "Americans" but it's like there are 34 other countries within the continents ending in America.

I meant it as USA vs USA, but hearing Americans say "America", on TV, YouTube, ect, so often. It's like a little joke.

I literally said they won’t play through him, lol. Team US plays best when they play fast which embiid can’t do. But I feel like you over analyzing all this. He just needs to rebound, play defense, and take shoots when he is open.

Haliburton gets some run. Would like to see him paired with Steph at some point just to see what it looks like on offense
