Oh, it was a joy to watch the Pacers' offense running smoothly for a change. But it feels like we caught Miami unprepared more than anything. Maybe they really believed the media hype about the Pacers' demise.

But I think they'll take us seriously next game. So probably it won't be so easy for the Pacers to score. But that's fine, we're built to gut out low scoring grind games anyway.

If you Pacer fans think your beating the Heat and making the finals after 3 pathetic months and getting blown out repeatedly in the playoffs then LOL. You guys would get swept in the finals, they'd probably cancel game 4 because of how bad you'd be losing in each game. Indiana has reached its ceiling (ECF).

This is an awful post, just awful.

Moral victories sucks but i dont feel that bad after this loss. We played one of your worst games on the defense side of the ball and the pacers make all shots they could and we still had a chance with 4m left into the 4th. Play harder D and we got this.

it wasn't so long ago that we Pacer fans were watching a shot of Larry Bird holding his head in his hands. can't say I minded the shoe being on the other foot.

As I said before the series started this is going to be a competitive 6-7 game series and I still think Miami wins this in 6. I disagreed with people who said it would be an easy 5 game series for the Heat. The Pacers get up for this team and today they were working on all cylinders. Miami really needs to bring a better defensive effort. I thing I have noticed is that the Pacers are smarter this year with how they are exploiting Miami's defense. They have probably watched film of the Mavs + Spurs series against the Heat.

Game 2 is important for Miami now.

I mean how often do you see a player make a flagrant foul, not say anything and get a technical. It happens so often.

It was a personal foul and THEN a flagrant foul, and it was the right call....
Um no considering that you can't do that. The ref clearly called a technical despite the replay showing that Chalmers didn't say anything after the call. So how could his demeanor have determine a technical should be called? Refs were a joke today, but that didn't make Miami lose, the fact that Indiana were making a bunch of shots that they don't make against anyone else, Miami's terrible defense (due to trapping the ball handler on the pick and roll even when it's clear Indiana know how to get through that), and Miami again missing a bunch of wide open 3's and the role players not doing their jobs by making those 3's is what killed Miami today.

You made a lengthy post for being so wrong. On the floor is was called a technical and then changed to a personal foul and a flagrant foul. The personal foul was on the contact BEFORE Watson jumped and the flagrant foul was called because Chalmers for some reason decided to shove Watson as he was jumping. Of course, you'll cry about the push off Watson got away with and how it should have been an offensive foul in the first place.

You'd think you'd be paying attention to the broadcast when they explained this.

I don't understand from what post you've quoted, how you could come back with a response like that?

Original poster has posted something well thought out and acknlowedged that the Pacers won't score that easily again for probably the entire ECF and you go in to a ridiculous rant about Pacers fans gloating??

I can't imagine a Heat fan who has true faith in the team would feel the need to post this. You couldn't even wait until Game 2, assuming the Heat win, to post something like this? Cause you realize will come back to this if the Pacers win the series, right?

Lebron needs to get better at pre-game motivational speeches. I imagine he'll let his game do the talking come Tuesday though.

All of a sudden this 23rd ranked offense comes out slinging and hits threes at a higher than usual rate while having an obscene 37:15 edge in FTs and they drop 107. That's called an aberration. Won't really happen again and Miami will still take the series.

It's also called money in the bank.

I see this a lot. "Team X did this, that, and the third, and they won't do that again, thus they can't win." But aberrations happen in nearly every competitive series. The Thunder and Clippers just got done basically trading "aberrations" until someone lost. It often just means a well prepared team attacked a weakness to the point where something unexpected happened.

The Heat may very well bounce back and convincingly win the series. But if they do, I guarantee there will be some aberration games in the process.

Bosh's fifth consecutive single digit playoff performance against Indy, dating back to last year's ECF. This is just a nasty matchup for him.

Giving Battier the starting nod & 16 minutes was puzzling  . It didn't work last year & Indy literally has the exact same starting 5 this year. Not sure what Spo was thinking there.

I ain't no Heat or LeChoke fan. Raptors are my team. Heat will win this series, write it, book it, take it to the bank, do whatever you have to.

Why are you so angry though? Shouldn't Pacers fans be optimistic about the potential outcome?

If the OKC-clippers series was officiated as fairly as this one, Clippers win that series. I think Kevin durant has clearly surprassed lebron in getting unfair easy calls.

Don't like Indiana. Then again I don't like any so called contender besides the Spurs. I'm the biggest OKC hater but I hate Indiana even more then OKC. Something about the Pacers that makes them so unlikable.

This. Not the first time Miami lost a game 1.
