Germany getting some easy baskets and Slovenia having to work just to get a decent look.

Their offense looks like the Dallas Mavericks. All Luka and nothing else tonight.

just like Brazil and Latvia, it's pretty easy to see which is the best team on the court.

Hes been great, I thought Pasecniks will be their main center, but hes just a nobody. Love Gražulis' game, ubdersized but only in height, dude looks strong as hell, reminds me of Adam Hrycaniuk, but better.

He always trigger my thin skin tho a bit, cause he in Lithuania, we have very very unpleasant politician with a very same name

Doesn't Gražulis translate to "beautiful" from Lithuanian or something like that?

Germany are mixing up their double teams on Luka rather than every single play like Australia’s pathetic coaching.

And now Slovenia gets a tech for a flop and another on hot headed Luka. He threw away the bronze medal in Tokyo and again can’t control his emotions.

Love Fiba refs not taking any crap.

People who say KAT is better than Siakam pisses me off, have you guys actually watch the same player, KAT is so freaking soft, its insane, he is just a tease, because you know he has ability to dominate, but he just doesnt. Step insede fool, you draw so many double when you there, but guy is afraid of doubling perhaps, wtf.

Mavrelous wrote:Latvia (unless a miracle happens) and Canada (if they advance) had to go through hell to advance, infinitely harder than US and Lithuania, who's only competition was Montenegro and the backup Greek team, also much harder than Germany and Slovenia, who needed to beat Australia only.

I kinda disagree with this for Canada, since Montenegro and Greece are better than Brazil. Them losing to Brazil caused some chaos. But if they are for real, they will not have trouble vs Spain, which wouldn't advance from US group either, if you replace them with Greece or Montenegro.

For Latvia a whole different story, but when you are considered lower seed you are likely to get stronger opponents in your group. Ofc, It doesn't help getting Canada, which is not a 1st seeded team in ur group either due to past results.

Looks like Dominicans won't make it to the quarter finals.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Germany playing with fire here. Had every chance to blow this game wide open but relaxed on D and settled on jumpers on consecutive possessions. You do NOT want to give Luka a chance to think they still have a shot at this.

it seems that a Spain win would put Brazil in the olympic games.

Yup, what a choke job against Puerto Rico. Should have won that one.

If Canada loses against Spain then Brazil makes the Olympics directly, since they won against the Canadians.

Gražus - means beautiful (male thing)
Graži - means beautiful (female thing)

I mean not neceserally a person, like in english, ship is female right, - shes, a good ship - for example. But in Lithuania, every noun has clear gender, and in lIthuanian, ship (LT. laivas) is a male noun. So if you said beautiful ship in lithuanian, it would be - gražus laivas.

There is also word Gražuolis (male) or Gražuolė (female), which is the same thing, just sweater, more diminutive version.

So yeah, you are very close, I have never even thought of it, to me, Gražulis is just a piece of *** One letter can make all the difference.

So, now who finishes first between Italy and Serbia? Italy is fine, but I would really want to avoid Serbia...

Italy won over Serbia. (That 17 pt comeback haunting Serbia now, because of that choke they’ll face the US in the QF)

Luka 2-11 on three. Almost all on step backs with a defender on him.

Australia seriously doubled this guy almost exclusively and didn’t give their world class defenders a chance at him.
