Weren't you at the lakers-minny thread screaming rigged?

 That’s what hypocrites do though

I’ll shut you down like I did the other chump. Quote a post of mine from that thread to prove I was in there at all, let alone “screaming rigged”. Or else admit you made it up like a big crybaby

I hope Adams schools the Dubs in game 7 and sends them to Cancun.

I still don't believe in the Rockets. They had a bunch of lucky wins such as against Cavs, a perfect FT miss tip in, OT vs Wolves, etc. Given that fortune favors the brave and they do create a lot of those ops, I think their luck is going to run out soon.

they def have their flaws, idk what u mean by "don't believe" do u mean u don't believe they can go all the way this season? yeah, probably not but they're a really tough matchup for this Warriors team, which isn't that great to begin with (also very flawed) but would have a better shot vs. some of the other Western teams imo

I am taking GSW to win game 7 base on GSW is more experienced. I think HOU offense back to normal and GSW play reasonable vs big line up.

Silly challenge. It doesn’t lead to his team getting points, it doesn’t lead to his team winning the game, and he’s not 100% sure he’s right.

Only challenge if you’re 100% sure you’re right, it directly leads to points, or it wins you the game.

Normal houston offense is jalen and amen and even brooks scoring...

The Rockets didn’t win game 6 because they played over their head offensively. They were the better and more poised team for all four quarters. And this was in San Francisco, with the Warriors motivated to
not come back to Houston. The Rockets present real matchup problems for Golden State that aren’t going away in game 7. The way the Warriors lost game 6 should be cause for concern. It wasn’t a flukey win by Houston.

As long as the Rockets continue to make life very difficult for Steph Curry, they stand a very good chance of winning game 7 at home.

The Warriors have played 12 halves of this series, and the only one that they outright won was the first. Every other half was either a 50/50 proposition or they got schooled. The Rockets have figured them out.

Not that a fluke couldn't happen in Game 7, because of course it could, but I regret to report (because I had hoped otherwise) that Houston is the better team.

Completely disagree. You're acting like the Warriors were the favorites coming into the series. They were literally the underdogs. Curry is 37 years old. The fact they went up 3-1 is more of an indictment on the Rockets considering they're clearly the better team. Warriors are so undersized in this series that it's almost unimaginable that this series is even going 7 games. This should've been a sweep, and likely would've been had Udoka made adjustments earlier in the series and gone to his Jumbo Package in Game 1 instead of waiting til Game 5. Or Had Jalen Green just not completely sh** the bed by scoring single-digits in 3 out of the first 4 games.

By your own logic, Lebron's legacy should take a huge hit since he's lost in the 1st Round of the Playoffs 3 out of the last 4 years.

They were favored... You're lying for no reason.

Miss me with the arbitrary Vegas betting odds. The 7th-Seed is never favored over the 2nd-Seed when both teams are healthy. Get real. The Warriors are so massively undersized that this series should've been a sweep. The only reason is wasn't is because it took Ime Udoka 5 games to realize that the Warriors literally don't have a Center and that his team is much bigger than theirs. Jalen Green being a total scrub outside of Game 2 certainly didn't help either.

“I don’t like facts so I reject it!”

Bro they were favored and it wasn’t a small favorite or anything. This wasn’t some arbitrary thing. Just because you don’t want them to be favored to fit your agenda is not trashing Curry blowing a 3-1 lead doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Learn what favorite means before you come back with that nonsense.

Curry is going to get trashed for this if he loses tomorrow and it will be a legacy hit for losing a series where he was up 3-1 and favored from the start. Get over it.

This is correct. Per Vegas, the Warriors were nearly 2:1 favorites pre-series owing mainly to the volume of bets on the more popular Golden
State team. When the series was at 3-1, obviously they became even more heavy favorites with a chance to clinch on the road and back at home.

For Game 7, we’re nearly back to square one in a near toss-up line; the Rockets the slight favorites against the spread (-2.5) and moneyline at 55%-45% implied odds in favor of Houston.

If you’re betting or cheering for the Rockets, that’s great value since it’s a home game. If you still believe the Warriors, then this is very good value too.

Let’s all hope for a Game 7 overtime, so everyone is happy

6 games into the series, and the Warriors have not found an answer for the Rockets' zone defense and Steven Adams. Adams might be the most impactful player in a series that has Butler and Curry. The Warriors can't get him off the glass, Adams has been a wall at the rim, and because of the zone, Adams doesn't have to defend in space. The Hack-a-Adams strategy was a desperate attempt by Kerr to get Udoka to take Adams out of the game.

the numbers don't lie

Adams has been so pivotal because of the downstream effect his presence creates.for example because the Warriors don't have many offensive weapons and have poor spacing, their half-court offense obviously isn't very good. because of the Rockets offensive rebounding (spearheaded by Adams) - the Dubs are forced to hang back and put multiple bodies on him, which means they get out very slowly and have to rely on their half-court offense which like i said, isn't any good

Match-up is helping, but if you go back to the regular season, the +/- with the double bigs was killing everyone. The Rockets went from dead last in offence with about 1/3rd of the season left to 22nd with just 2 changes; letting Green bring the ball up and having other elite athletes on the floor with him so he wasn’t getting out and running all by himself and the double bigs. Sengun and Adams was the best 2-man combination in the NBA this year and I think one of the best since they’ve been recording such. And it’s not just defensively, I think the Rockets averaged well over 120 ppg/48 with them on the floor.

They also discovered a small ball lineup that was really clicking with Jabari at the 5, but I don’t think that’s been used as much against G-State, not sure if that’s because it was ineffective or Ime thinks going small ball against the Dubs is playing into their hands. But the 3 factors really gave him a lot to play with later on in the season.
