After 2 quarters there's a JV vs. Drummond battle going on. Both have 12 points on ridiculous efficiency (JV 6/7, AD 6/8), Jonas scoring his points mostly from post ups and mid-range jumpers and Andre with wide open dunks. Both have ridiculous potential and it just makes me sad that we could've had both of them on our team.

Good game from both Val, and Drummond

Drummond- 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2blks, 2 stls, 8-10 fg, 19 min

Val- 14 points, 13 rebounds, 4blks, 2 assists, 7-11 fg, 39 min

Unfortunately Val didn't get many touches in the 2nd half. I'm interested to see what could happen if they actually made a point of running offense through him.

The 2nd half didn't have enough of JV vs. Drummond, which is too bad, but both put up pretty impressive numbers. AD 17 points (8/10 FG's, 1/4 FT's), 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in nearly 19 minutes, Jonas with 14 points (7/11 FG's), 13 rebounds and 4 blocks in nearly 39 minutes. It looks like Andre will be a better defensive player in the future mainly because of his incredible athleticism, but Jonas will be much more skilled on offense and should become a serious post threat. Both of them have futures as top 5 centers in the league.

Drummond has a future as an elite/franchise center. JV is a cut behind that, but still I can see multiple all-star games for him. The battles between the 2, barring injury, should be ginormous at least for the next decade.

Evan Fournier with a career high 19 points in 21 minutes on 6/9 from the field for the Nuggets tonight. Also played the point for stretches because of Lawson being out.

He's starting to look really good. Personally I think he's going going to do pretty good offensively in this league. He has a pretty versatile repitoire. Plays in the P+R, has a post game, hits jumpers, can drive, gets to the line, and he does it all with crazy efficiency because of his comically long arms.

How good he can be is really going to come down to his defensive improvements though imo, and I have no idea how to predict that.

Lillard only 3 threes away from surpassing Stephen Curry's record for 3s made in a rookie season.

Victor Claver is a rookie not talked about much (and rightfully so), but he made a great play here.

first game back after missing 2 months and scores 17 points on 10 shots in 18 minutes :o . Remember, he is supposed to be the most "raw" player in the NBA.

he might be able to score 15ppg just off lobs and putbacks. if he ever develops a post game, watch out NBA.

Fournier led the Nuggets off the bench in 20 minutes. :o WOW. Kid is a stud in the making, and will be one of the steals of the draft, book it. He's the best shooter on the Nuggets and he's crafty as hell. Great handle. His athleticism is not great, but that's because he has the body of a 19 year old. Hopefully he's like Gallinari, who is considerably faster/stronger than he was.

Drummond is also going to be a STUD. He's massive.

Damn, another great SF for the Nuggets.

Brewer, Gallinari, Chandler, and now Fournier. Time to trade one of them.

I think MKG's finally back in his early-season form. 21 points and 9 rebounds on 82% shooting and solid D. Could've had the double-double but Tanklap yanked him at a crucial point in the game for Pargo for no reason.

Meyers Leonard with 22 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs. He also hit his first 3-pointer of his career as well.
