Disrupted the Hawks offense and was the biggesr reason for the early lead. He has played great

His defense was great but he has 4 points. He has to be a threat to score.

If he shoots at his avg, Sixers will score 112 points per 100 possessions. In addition to the benefits below:
1) When someone shoots a lot of ft in a short amount of time, they tend to shoot better than avg.
2) The chance for fast break after ft is much lower, which means the Hawks will be operating low efficiency half court sets.
3) Foul troubles for your rotation players.

Hack-a-XXXX is an ok strategy toward the end of the game when you are trying to catch up and extend the game by stopping the clock and hoping the other team misses.

i think it's a disruption to the offense. it gets in his head. it forces doc to make a decision. but the hack a ben should happen when embiid is on the court b/c the sixers dominate all of his minutes.

I just realized Ken Mauer, Scott Foster and Tony Brothers are all together officiating a game? The lowest of the low

It's head games. If he makes more than he misses, you stop. If he doesn't, then he needs to be pulled. Fastbreaks will be there half the time as he'll miss the second FT at least half the time. Put the pressure on Simmons while cooling off the rest of the team offensively. Any time the Sixers start going on a run with Simmons in, it should be time to hack him. Put in an end of bench player, 6 free fouls.

Sixers have the superior starting unit but this bench is killing them this series. Dwight shouldn't be playing, especially with Ben. Ben should always be the small ball 5 when he's not playing with Embiid. Sixers have absolutely no scoring on their bench. Two games in a row now the bench has either given up a huge Sixers lead or allowed a huge Hawks lead.

Ben Simmons has the cheat code on guarding Trae Young.

He’s owned this game defensively.

"Doesn't look like Danny Green"

Me: I dunno. that's how he's been the entire season. Dude is massively streaky and he's either *ON* or cold as **** OFF

Trae's foul baiting hurts to watch. I am glad they aren't rewarding it but it still sucks.

The only way it could get any worse is if Marc Davis was working the replay center
