Clippers are still the Clippers and Harden is still Harden. I was rooting for them too.

I won’t believe the Clips are legit until after they already win. May not be fair but I just can’t even picture them winning.

I try not to be a hater - is Harden actually just a huge big game choker or is there more to it? It’s so weird not even noticing him when he’s on the floor.

What a marvelous life Ben Simmons has... Even this season, he’s done for the year... Over the last 4 years, he’s pocketed $140 million while playing just 2,000 regular-season minutes and 42 playoff minutes.

Should use some of that coin for the Ben Simmons school for people who can’t shoot good and want to learn to do other stuff good too.

Someone might argue being in that many game 7s just as good as winning in a single game 7. Not me of course.

Sure, those people would be dead wrong, but they’re welcome to argue that!

I feel more embarrassed for Balmer than Harden. He bought tickets and flown 30 random Clippers fan to cheer on the team and that had no effect whatsoever. Maybe tried for 3000 instead of 30 people next time?

i hope you bet on that with actual money if you really believe that. Denver series win pays 5x i believe.

I bet on Denver when they were down against the Clips. I'm going to put my winning minus what I placed down on them for the OKC series. Jokic is going to show he's the GOAT in this playoffs. No GM, no coach, and no strong supporting cast, no one can mark him with any asterisk.

What if the best player in the world lose in the 1st round?

I feel like if this was prime LeBron he would get slaughtered for getting bounced in Rd 1. Will we have that same energy for Jokic or will he get an excuse...

Going off of SRS or W-L, what 1st round opponents did Eastern-Conference LeBron James face in the first round who were comparable to this Clippers squad?

Keep in mind Kawhi+Harden were playing at a +14 SRS together in the Regular Season this year and are at +10 SRS over the past 2 seasons. The trio of Kawhi+Harden+Zubac was approaching +16 SRS.

You do realize the Nuggets were favored to win this series?

This is not a underdog story lol

First of all, the odds I can find had it at -115 or -120 for the Nuggets, which is basically a toss-up.

Second, nobody said anything about an under dog. My point is rather "The Clippers are much better than any 1st round series Prime LeBron faced out Easy". Do you think this Clippers team was inferior to any 1st round opponent LeBron faced in his prime?

So what? The first round was an afterthought for LeBron in his prime. It was generally short work. He beat plenty of teams in later rounds which is what matters.

If you want to continue this discussion, understand my response was to a person referencing and contextualizing first round series.

My Clippers hurt me last game, but now I'm feeling much better. Jokic is just great and probably end up as a GOAT when his career in his late 30's. Nothing to shame about your team taking it to game 7 against him.
