Sixers have scored 120+ in 11 of 20 games since James Harden has arrived and that's including a couple 130 bombs and a 144 point outing. I don't see why they couldn't put those numbers again, especially if the Raptors are committed to trapping Embiid and letting Maxey/Harris/Harden/Green/Niang bomb away on open 3's.

Your regular season best was 137ORTG.

You just did 147ORTG in game 1. The 5th best outing of the entire NBA season. Like top 10 outing in nba history.

I’m not knocking Philly, but it most likely isn’t happening again. It was a perfect storm.

I get what you're saying, but truthfully it's more likely that the Sixers offense with their weapons blow the scoreboard up than the Raptors come out and shoot nearly 50% from the field and 40% from 3 again. You could say 'perfect storm' if it completely went the direction of Philadelphia.

Truthfully, Toronto had an extremely productive night offensively as a unit and still got routed. Both teams could suffer a setback in that department, I just don't think the Raptors have the firepower to go shot for shot. Something has to change defensively. Philadelphia was way too comfortable out there tonight.

It has been that way for YEARS on the GB. That is why Raptors fans have the rep they have around here.

People aren't just making this up.

Besides Maxey (and Harris) playing better than expected. The real difference comes down to fundamentals. Rebounding and limiting mistakes (turnovers).

Toronto has not answer for Maxey this entire season. They got to make decision whether to switch or stay man to man.

It’s a tough choice for nick nurse. Don’t switch and raptors have no help on embiid. Switch and just hope Maxey doesn’t blow by defenses

I thought Toronto played well on offense. Their defense just was not good enough. They succeeded in limited embiid and harden. But Maxey and Harris basically got into the lane all game.

You mean the divisional rival with both teams? Lol

Celtics fans don't hate Raps fans to nearly the same degree. Y'all fanbases seem quite buddy buddy actually.

Not in the slightest.

Compared to the Raptors rivalry the 76ers don't exsist. At least on RealGM.

But also to be fair it's because in the past like idk 20 years the 76ers are just a team we beat in 4 or 5 games every year so it's hard to be upset with them from a Boston point of view.

But it's also because of the fanbases. 76ers got like Hussein and eyetoma and that's about it, as you know the Raptor fans have like 20% trolls, 40% normal, 20% super awesome best posters on RealGM in their base but only the trolls post in the General board threads or Celtic forums for the most part.

How many of those Raptors fans wishing injury on Embiid did you report to a moderator Duffman? As a Retired Mod you know the rules and how to handle it.

Did you snitch out your own Raps fans? Didn't think so.

Just because he hasn't built up a body count doesn't mean he is not putting players at risk.

Which is why Raps fans and Celtics fans are on each others boards sending well wishes. That's not a real rivalry and those two teams have minimal competitive history.

Raps need to focus their defence on either Harden or Maxey. Let Embiid have his on one on one coverage. It would also save some guys from his irrational flailing elbows that took out three or four guys today.

Theres a whole bunch of Raptor fans on your board asking for him to be intentionally injured.

a) We were talking about this GB thread.
b) You go to team specific board and you're going to see the same thing in a similar circumstance.

So you’re saying it’s ok to wish a player to be injured, but only on a team specific board?

480 games and somehow a 300lb guy who you claim plays recklessly all game long, is big, clumsy and out of control hasn't hurt a single guy.

That doesn't make a lick of sense. The reality disproves your cry baby narrative.

Sometimes the best trade is the one you don't make. Imagine if Boston traded either Brown or Tatum for Anthony Davis. What a bullet dodged.
