The crowd was booing him early on and lot, he started playing into it and cupping his ear after he scored, doing the raise the roof and just going back at it with the crowd. They actually started easing up and you heard some cheering for him. He took a three rather than get the turnover at the end of the game too, straight WWE heel work.

America is such an odd term to me, as a citizen of the United States.

There are 23 countries in North America and then another 12 countries in South America.

I understand in the world, of those 35 countries the US are most commonly thought of as "Americans" but it's like there are 34 other countries within the continents ending in America.

The name of the country is United States of America. "United States" is just short for it as is "America". No other country has "America" in its name so there is no confusion about what country people are talking about. There used to be other countries with "United States" in their name in the past as well.

In spanish they can use the americano as a generic word for anyone from north or south america. I think in english it is better to use north american or south american, as they are separate continents. Just my opinion on it. I don't know how many people that aren't from the USA that also call themselves American before any other name even if it technically applies. I know I never use north american or earthling to describe myself though that is technically what I am

The guy declared himself an international FA, went on a wine and dine tour, got a country to give him a passport while flirting with them for over a year, only to pick the US and say “I feel American. Also the French are colonizers”.
