At what point does Nikola Jokic become a part of the GOAT debate?

He has the production, the accolades. Only thing missing is multiple titles. IF N!K0LA wins this postseason, is at least in the 2nd or 3rd tier of the GOAT Debate?

Marcus Morris is a clown for saying that. Even if he doesnt have Jokic top 20 all time he has been the best player in the nba the past 5 years. Show some class.

There's gonna be dudes playing now telling us 20 years from now that they stayed in front of (40 year old) LeBron on a drive so he probably wasn't that tough to guard.

It's close.

LeBron is the gold standard. Through his Age 28 season (excluding Jokic's 2025 season), LeBron had 4 MVPs, 8-time Top 5 MVP Finishes, Two Titles, and 4 Top 5 DPOY finishes (Two 2nd place finishes).

LeBron James finished 7th in the 2014 RealGM Top 100 list (This would include LeBron's 2014 season, which had him leading a team to the NBA Finals).

Moses Malone is a good standard for the Top 20. Typically on the cusp but outside-looking-in, he finished 23rd on RealGM Top 100 2023 Project. 3 MVP, 5-time Top 5 finishes in the MVP, 10 time Top 10 finisher in MVP, 1 Championship.

Is Jokic ahead of Moses?

How about Karl Malone? 2 Time MVP, 9 time Top 5 finishes in MVP, 14 time Top 10 in MVP.

It's Jordan, it's always been Jordan, it'll probably always be Jordan. Just stop.

^Reiterating, I'm legitimately surprised Kobe doesn't command more support in the 'GOAT Debate'...on this board.
His credentials stack up against all but...4 players in league history.

It's funny because Pau Gasol is likely a Top 75 player ever.

I agree

We got people saying the Big 3 Celtics formed in the 2008 season to stop Kobe, who hadn't been to the Finals since 2004 (when he had a meltdown for the ages and cost the Lakers the series), and hadn't even won a playoff series since then

But "aura" or something lol
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

LeBron has won four more playoff series than any other all-time great. He has won 11 more than Jordan and 14 more than Russell.Image

Only 7 Players in NBA history have 21,000 points, 5,750 assists and 5,750 rebounds. LeBron has double those numbers.

I'm going to go off topic here, as you appear to be a Kobe fan.

My brother is in cinematography. He did a shoot with Kobe years ago, and when they got done, my brother asked if Kobe would say something to his son because his son was going through a rough time. Kobe stopped and looked directly at my brother's phone camera as my brother video-taped what Kobe had to say. My brother said it was the most eloquent, heartfelt message he's ever heard. Multiple camera people were on hand, and at least two of them cried during Kobe's comments. When my brother got home, he played it for his son....and realized that he had his finger over the microphone the whole time so you couldn't hear a word. Classic.

So you are saying those who support LeBron over Jordan are delusional ?.
