SGA has 30/6.5/5 on ok but not good efficiency with 3 stocks and 3.5 turnovers.

EDIT: Ok I was wrong here, it’s 28/8/7 on 57 percent TS with 2 stocks and 2 turnovers.

He’s been pretty darn good this series actually. His usual workmanlike game.

But he’s been not good in the clutch specifically.

No one is calling SGA the goat though. He is still great and actually plays both sides of the ball.

Stats = "Propaganda" apparently . Hilarious.

Murray: 5/16
Westbrook: 2/12
MPJ: 1/7
Braun: 4/10
Watson: 1/3

Literally all of them shot poorly. And most of these are on WIDE OPEN looks generated by Joker too. These numbers are "Propaganda" though, right?

I never said Joker was playing well (he wasn't and has been horrible this series). I said he had to take over if they wanted any chance to win the game because his "shooters" couldn't throw it in the ocean on wide open shot attempts, which they couldn't.

Jokic: 7/22

That's his own fault tbh he'd be fine in the clutch if he just moved the ball.

Steph has to be super bummed looking at the rest of this Western conference field, knowing he almost certainly gets to another Finals if healthy.

Physicality and defense. Except for Tatum. Tatum is trash. 8-)

This confirms it for me, how the Thunder is the best team this postseason and will win the NBA title. They can win in a variety of ways, a low scoring slugfest or a high-scoring one. They are consistently versatile so match-ups (Wolves next then whoever comes out from the East, with whatever style)

How is that refuting anything I said... I've already acknowledged that Joker's been horrible this series. But he was getting his guys (especially Westbrook, Braun, MPJ, and Watson) wide open looks from 3 and literally all of them struggled to make them.

Stop it. Steph needed 7 to beat a team who's motto is "Yeah, we can't shoot or play in the half court. But have you seen Orlando play?"

Not sure about that.

They are playing the Nuggets. Major difference between this team guarding you versus Knicks/Celtics. Even a healthy Wolves and Dubs would tell us more.

It should be frustrating yes, but they winning against the Wolves is still unlikely with him on the floor. It's sadder to think that this has "the last dance" feel to this season. i think they are good contending for another year, but that's not a given

Don’t care. Taking healthy Steph and Butler over any of these remaining teams. Easily.

Both teams are bricking it up. Good old fashioned slugfest. It happens in the playoffs son.

The reality is, both are so good that the entire defense has zeroed in on them, and mostly SGA got more help than Jokic (except for one game). Today, the two max players Murray and MPJ were completely useless despite being wide open. And its so common that i predicted it.

Jokic has been completely useless for 3 straight games, stop making excuses. If LeBron put up the dismal shooting numbers Jokic was putting up you'd be making threads about it

When was the last time LeBron was double / triple teamed? He choked vs. the wolves in single coverage.

When was the last time you heard Jokic call himself the GOAT?

Stop it.

At age 30, James saw many double/triple teams. You're reaching at anything to give Jokic a pass. At least he had more made field goals than turnovers this game.

He needs to stop trying to go super iso especially when things aren't going his way. If he had given the ball to JDub in game 3 where he was killing the Nuggets, the Thunder could've won that game.

Then again they may have unlocked the magic key in restricting Dort to under 20mins/gm by playing Wallace, Wiggins and Caruso a lot more. God I can't get enough of those 3, especially Caruso finding creative ways to be a disruptor on defense and a facilitator on offense. He's the ultimate coach's dream. Ernie Johnson's son shining out to the point his head is more polished than a bowling ball!

I mean with the way that game was going before he went down I think that’s a strong indication they would’ve beat Minny.

Benefitted from Chris Paul with the same injury years ago. Sometimes life has a way of going both ways.

Unfortunate for him but that's sports.
