In football there’s an expression that if you have two quarterbacks you have no quarterbacks.
And that’s kind of how I feel about OKC’s 3-point shooting.
I don’t REALLY trust any of them, but maybe it’s different at home we’ll see.
"I'd rather have Kevin Love spacing out to the three point line than anything (Karl) Malone brings"

Zach Lowe just made a good point. Daigs is still messing around with lineups this far into the playoffs. He seems to me like a coach that can resist tinkering with stuff and overthinking himself.

Yea honestly I’ve been impressed with how well they’ve responded considering their experience, in both this series and the Denver one. But the pressure doesn’t get any higher than this.

Such a big game for the league overall. If OKC wins they run it back and come into next year with a swagger, great chance to repeat. If they lose they will have lost as a heavy favorite and will question themselves and likely pursue a big trade, probably for Giannis.

Will Daigenaut be in the Hot Seat if OKC lose game 7 ?

Normally I would assume no, but after the recent firings of Mike Malone and Thibs all bets are off..

I have been picking OKC to win this series but now that it has gone to 7, I am picking IND. I don't trust OKC to shoot the ball well in game 7. All IND has to do is take care of the ball and they should win comfortably.

Hot seat? He should fired before the team gets on the plane. 2nd straight upset as a top seed in the playoffs

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that the team that wins the next game will win the series.

No one wins comfortably in OKC.

I watched OKC choke away a regular season game vs Minnesota several months back in the regular season and felt they were a very flawed and beatable and overrated team with a very predictable offense.

They aren’t some all time great team. They should feel very fortunate if they’re able to escape Game 7 with the title.

Very impressive Pacers showing in their final home game of the season.

And I think though they left it all out on the court, they still have more gas in the tank for Game 7.

OKC simply took their foot off the gas and Indy went full throttle, energized with momentum for the final final game.

GAME 7.

(Channeling Doris...) Who voted for it as the predicted result? Not me. I just knew better than to write Indy off as the pavement on the road to an easy OKC championship. But Indy's resilience and FU punch back and togetherness, their absolute disrespect (in the most respectful way) for the team with the most wins, instead being the team that rises in the most important wins, makes for an unprecedented and unpredictable win.

Then again... Carlisle already has experience of leading a Cinderella team to an unlikely victory...

OKC will adjust and will be better but they are far more at risk than they have ever been. And the Pacers are the wrong team with which to be comfortable in setting up a Game 7.

2013

2005 came down to the wire. Like literally every game 7 has been great for 30 years.

Game 7 NBA Finals you mean, generally (all playoffs) Game 7s is what was disappointing. But yes, we hope that's not true for the OKC-IND game and we also have a close game

Last 3 NBA Finals G7s:

2016 - Cavs beat Warriors, 93-89
2013 - Heat beat Spurs, 95-88
2010 - Lakers beat Celtics, 83-79

Ugh!!! How can I forget 2005?!

Yup, that one too
Spurs and Pistons went down to the end..we beat Detroit 81-74

1988 was close too. Lakers, Pistons came down to the wire . Issiah Thomas played with sprained ankle if I remember. I was a kid at the time. Lakers won 108-105

1984 Lakers/Celtics close too and 1978 SuperSonics/Bullets (Wizards ) close too.
I was a lil too young for these, the game 7s were close from what I see. Bullets and Celtics won their games.

1974 Celtics blew out Bucks, 1970 Knicks blew out Lakers.

Pacers/OKC fans should write a book about being humble and sell this to the Knicks fans as a bible in Manhattan
