These comparisons really need to stop. Bosh, Wade and LBJ actually like each other. Chemistry does matter.

LMAO - I don't care if they toss each other's salads in the locker room as a pre-game ritual, it has no bearing on whether they are a good fit on the court and whether or not they will win the ring. Sure its great they like each other off and on the court, it still guarantees NOTHING as it relates to winning a ring.

Its why they play the games.

Where did I say it guaranteed anything???????????

Chemistry goes a long way in determining if a team will be successful or not. If you don't see the differences between this trio and the 2004 Lakers then I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah cuz it's such a leap to claim something which is already unlikely, like LeBron playing for the Heat, isn't going to happen.

hmmm.. This would be great for Miami to net these players. Certainly change the landscape of the NBA.

Personally,I question if this will happen, because there have been too many ' sources ' soap boxing about where any of these guys will end up.

I am excited for FA to begin to find out where these guys go and put end to the premature " What if" scenarios.

Re: Ring Chasers. If all these guys consolidate too MIA.. then that is going to mean money is widely available elsewhere. I see most younger players chasing money. ( I would) ....

Malone and Payton to the Lakers is a bad example. They were HOF'er at the end of their careers. These guys are in their prime. Even with Payton not truly adjusting to the Tri the entire year, Malone was addition and that would have mattered, had he played in the finals.

Regardless, it would be a formidable team that if happens would be quite the show.

Now I don't believe this story but if true that would be the best three man star power line up in NBA history.Problem is that their team would be Wade,James,Bosh and Calmoners. Then what who's their center and were's their bench.Their not going to have any money left after signing the big three and mostly likely due the sign and trade of Bosh for Beasley.God idea on paper but with out a true center or bench their not going to be winning any titles.

Yea, I bet they can get rid of Beasley...I'm just genuinely curious where he would be headed because he'd have to be off the cap in this scenario.

Stephen A Smith knows nothing. Name one thing he has been right about? Mark Broussard is very knowledgable and has some good sources. He says Bulls. ALso some good sources say the Knicks. Lebron will be on the Bulls next season. Imagine Lebron dishing out to Rose for the open 3! you HAVE to believe his 3 pt % is going to skyrocket from 26% to at least 30%. just like how mo williams went from 39% to 42% when he joined lebron. very very solid.

I will predict the stats:

LeBron: 27 PPG, 10 RPG, 8 APG
Wade: 26 PPG, 5 RPG, 6 APG
Bosh: 23 PPG, 12 RPG, 2 APG

Now they need 2 more starters and some bench players that can supply good D and 20-25 more points per game.

the one team that everyone focused on and now is irrelvant, the Knicks, I see will still get both James/Bosh or Amare, with Mia getting one of the left over bigs. Thats just me, I just think NY the city will have enough appeal/draw for James which will then lead to Bosh, not sure will NYK will offer for Bosh but I'm sure with James on board they'll be willing to give just bout anything.

Not gonna be hard to find role players and vets to play for that team for VERY cheap.

they drafted the 4 year cneter from texas dexter pittman. solid big body. plus you know so many vets will take the minimum to join them. i'd like to see a list of free agents, but i bet

raja bell signs minimum deal to be backup SG
shaq signs minimum deal to be center

etc?

who are some older PGs and PFs who they could sign? come to think of it they could really fill it up with minimum solid vets who could put in 20 - 25 minutes a night for them.

edit: hard to find a list, but iverson, stephon marbury, brevin knight, antonio daniels are all possible at PG

raja buell and juan dixon at SG

desmond mason at backup SF

mevlin ely at backup PF

shaq at center, etc

I said in another thread I could see McGrady wanting to chase a ring on that squad.

true that. so many guys who could use a ring. brevin knight at PG is still really solid and could make sure everyone gets the ball. maybe stephon marbury who was solid with the celtics his last season. or antonio daniels. or jannero pargo.

McGrady...like Vince Carter seems cursed..so I wouldn't sign him on second thought.

Lebron wouldn't do it. Wade would always be +1 on him. Also it's Wade's team. Maybe it wouldn't be on the floor, but they are renaming streets after Wade, etc. in Miami, the town would always love him more deep down since he came up with the team through the draft. He also knows it would crush his hometown team when he rolled back into CLE and steamrolled us by 40 and piled up rings for another city.

If Lebron had already won a ring on his own for CLE, maybe he would do it. But at 25, in the prime of his career, I don't think his ego would allow it. I guess we will see.

Well Wade is like 4 years older than him. What better way to ensure that Wade never gets further than +1 than to play with him? :D Once Wade retires he can pull a Kobe and win 2 more and rewrite the record books.

2) If it did happen, I guarantee all 3 of those stars numbers go down. Gone would be the days of 30/7/7 from Lebron. There just simply wouldn't be enough shots to go around. Just look what happened when the Lakers brought in Payton and Malone, both Kobe and Shaq's numbers plummeted. It would be the same, except you have 3 egos in their prime.

The real stats that count would go up.

I think Lebron's numbers would stay the same, as would Wade's and Bosh's. It's three players who would be doing 90% of the scoring. You would never sit all three at the same time, therefore 10+ minutes a game you'd see Wade/Bosh, 10+ you'd see Wade/Bron and 10+ you'd see Bron/Bosh.

They'd score 120 points a game. Probably 30+ a night on fast breaks.

Really don't see LeBron going to MIA to play alongside the already established superstar in Wade. It could happen, but I think CHI is the more reasonable alternative. Pretty sure SAS is just trying to get some attention.
