UPDATE: League sources say a third team is involved, with the Suns possibly contributing Hedo Turkoglu to the equation. The Magic, trying to make a bold move to close the gap with Boston and Miami, would wind up with Arenas and Turkoglu, who would return to the team he led to the NBA Finals before a frustrating year in Toronto. Magic center Marcin Gortat is "100 percent involved," though it's unclear whether the Magic would be sending out Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, or both.

Why would the Magic get both Arenas and Blatche? Both players are better than Vince and Rashard.

If that is the case, that means that hinrich is coming in the deal and blatch too. If the deal is just between them two it would probley be something like this.

Reading the Magic boards, there not that thrilled in getting Turkoglu back. :lol:

But all of them still like Turkoglu, they just don't want his ugly contract.

Are the Magic intent in bailing out every single franchise from bad contracts? Guess they are planning on a lockout next season.

why would the wizards do any of these proposed deals.......their giving up a young talent in blatch, i know hes a horrible defender and bit of a headcase, but he still has a lot of talent......and they just gave him an extension too......same with howard, did they just resign him to trade him without playing a single game, rather let him expire

it would make sense if they were getting assets in return but all their getting is an orlando 1st.......their not even dumping areanas' contract, their talking back an even worse contract

and as for the jameer nelson argument, imo he is easily better than jennings and on par if not better than felton........ he was amazing for the most part in the playoffs last year

Turky back to ORL maybe? Hmm... could be good for him b/c ever since he left he's been horrible. I'm not sure if he'll ever reach his old self again, but the Magic are probably the best place for him to be.

this is rape by the magic. there is no way this happens

I agree but, if it invovled only those two teams and carter and lewis were both involved, I couldn't think of another trade that made sense or that would work salary wise. Now if phoenix is invovled it would be more equal and makes more sense sort of.

Nelson + Carter for Hedo + Nash is a pretty fare deal for both sides.
