But doesn't, lets the 2nd unit roll and get more PT.

As your name suggests, you're rustling peoples Jimmie's intentionally. We know what you're trying to achieve with your 'good guy' stuff.

Stop.

I guess Durant's game is less impressive than LeBron's because OKC doesn't feel the need to run up the score?

If we're going to get into some silly comments about OKC or Durant not wanting to run up the score and implying the Heat did that and it is beneath OKC, let's just stop before it starts.

Imply? Heat led by 19 to start the 4th, and LeBron played every second until 1:23 to go. That's a fact.

Yes, but are you suggesting that is a negative, that he played the 4th?

I mean, if the Heat lose to the Rockets this game, would it not be a fair criticism to suggest that maybe LeBron shouldn't have played nearly the whole 4th quarter in a blowout game (just to statpad) when they have a big game the next day?

Rest seems like it would have been the best choice on the first night of a b2b.

I'm suggesting he was obviously gunning for a career high. If that's "bad" depends on your view. Durant could've done so tonight, but didn't.

Potentially.

He has shot the ball efficiently. How do we gauge his fatigue, though?

Heat get destroyed on the boards, LeBron has 1 rebound all game. -17. Bricks game tying shot. I expect blanket coverage of this on ESPN.

I mean, he did just takeover ESPN for a whole day.

Not sure why they'd come out the next day and criticize him.

Congrats to KD for retaking the lead in the MVP race.

Better record is the key. Durant has that now.

LeBron worked hard to get the edge, but he lost it for now.

Great race. Down to the wire, if Miami can make it through a tough stretch of their schedule.

You're trying too hard. Nobody is going to take you seriously if you keep bashing LeBron no matter what and praising KD no matter what. This isn't First Take. Nothing is wrong with KD being in a close race with LeBron for MVP. Just enjoy the ride.

His 0 points in the fourth quarter were particularly clutch.

I've said time and time again this is one of the closest MVP races of all time. I'm not trying to do anything, just offering my opinion on the matter, which is KD never lost the lead, just lost a little ground.

My username comes from me seeing "James Rustles" elsewhere online and thinking it was funny without knowing what it meant. If I need to change that so people stop referencing it as if I am a troll, I would love to do so.

This was a little expected. He looked tired from the get go. I wouldn't react to this race on a game to game basis. At this point it is better to assess it every 2-3 games. Thursday is big. LeBron plays on TNT while KD plays Phoenix. A stinker from one of them or big games from both are going to be huge stories on Friday in the context of this race.
