NBA GMs seem to be quite high on this kid as well.



I was surprised that Towns isn't #1 but I guess that's because many GMs may consider him to already having had his breakout season last year itself.

As a Jazz fan, I really liked Booker in the 2015 draft. The thing that stood out was his age, youngest player in that draft. He's a pure shooter in a shooter's league and his mid-range game is really opening up. That said, I think the Jazz passed due to questions about his defense and athleticism in general. He has a hard time staying with and affecting players who are longer or more athletic. He's good at finding space and getting his shot off, but seems to struggle more against tight defense, and his handle and passing are still pretty basic.

That said, I like Booker more than Brad Beal (especially on a rookie deal). CJ McCollum might have an edge on him, just given his ability to handle and create as a combo-guard, but Booker is bigger and that makes him a slightly better floor spacer. He's still so young, there's just a ton of potential as he matures. He'll be even better when he has other high-IQ players to run with.

I also really like what I've seen of Marquese Chriss in the pre-season. His athleticism sets him apart like a young Antonio McDyess. Booker and Chriss could be franchise players for the Suns.
