Simple as that.

And for those who want to extend the definition to include any exaggeration of a lesser event then this whole entire thread is one big flop.

Ok, how would you label that dramatic display from Mr. Harden? Just to make you comfortable in the future.

And making it sound like overreaction from one single play is just disingenuous.

This is not a flop, it's deception of the ref, and probably an unsportsmanlike play, but not a flop.

Well he did flop on top of him.

I completely disagree that the thread wouldn't exist if someone else did it. Imagine the hate if Kevin Durant did this crap. You'd have way more posts hating him. If Lebron did it you'd have 40 pages of posts questioning his legacy. lol.

lol..overly dramatic...i guess green should be eliminated for any DPOY due to his nutt kicks?...

IT. Boston having a great season.

Both Russ and Harden flopped too hard this season. Isiah Thomas don't flop!

I meant IT in discussion for MVP. I don't see IT flopping as much as Harden.

whats the fuss here, Beard has always been the ultimate anti-sportmanship. Getting stupid calls all along his career. Many players flop and cheat and put up acts once in a while, but none do it as much as this dude.

just hands him the MVP anyways, MVP is a joke award (just like all other awards), refs are a joke, NBA is a joke, prosports all are jokes. It's all about the business, everything is fixed and scripted just like reality shows that Americans happen to love so much...

Hey, if the refs fall for something so blatant, then the issue is not with Harden in this scenario.

You don't see a embellishing of contact here? He jumped on the kids back to make it look like MCW undercut him with his ass, it was quite a bit of embellishment. I just can't understand how fans can defend this, it's similar to me defending Marcus Smart.

No exception, its just Curry and Warriors' shows are way more exciting to watch. It's like watching Game of Thrones, vs watching Harden and the Katrashian shows...

I'm sure it wasn't rigged back when the Warriors were sitting atop a 3-1 lead in the finals

At first I was wondering what's with all the fuss and false labeling over a single play in a game that was poorly officiated overall. It wasn't even the worst call of the game.

But then it became clear what most of the consternation was really about.

Did you read my post or just cut out the last half of a sentence and decide I had an agenda? My issue was with someone making a mockery of the game and my preference that they not be rewarded by earning a title or an MVP. If he wins MVP I won't gripe. The guy is amazing. He is also a shameless flopper who doesn't play defense, but that doesn't negate the fact that he is THE driving force behind his team's success and is doing so at an all time great level.

So no there really isn't any sort of worry on my part that he may win MVP. He is rightfully one of the top two candidates.

Unless the quote was somehow mysteriously inaccurate, your own words betray you...repeatedly.
Your backhanded compliments only further demonstrate the point.
My statement stands.

In the meantime you may want to catch a few of Harden's games.

How was this a flop? He didn't see Perkins' pick and got hit by it. He didn't fall down. He actually tried to stay up by holding onto Perkin's jersey.

It's things like this that makes me despise Harden.
