You know who this won't impact? Collin Sexton. No social media at all for him because, as he says, "Likes don't make you better at anything."

Summer League doesn’t tell you who can play, but it definitely tells you who can’t.

Let's pump the brakes a bit

There are no "definites" in SL, pump your on brakes on that dude. So many variables influence Players NBA production and SL production.

The same way a Player sucks, can be influenced by the same way a Player shines. Since we don't have regular games yet, all people have to go on ARE SL games.

I remember the year Batum and Bayless played on the Blazers summer league team. Bayless averaged like high twenties and took league MVP. Batum on the other hand, struggled and people thought he was a scrub. Now we know Batum became quite the decent player and Bayless turned out mediocre. This is anecdotal but a common occurrence for summer league..

Going to be a hell of a ROY race imo. You obviously have a generational talent in Ayton, alongwith Bagley, Bamba, as very high potential players. Then you have Doncic who could be more NBA ready than all these guys, and three promising point guards in ideal situations to win ROY and put up numbers in SGA, Sexton, and Young. Oh and there is W.Carter Knox and anyone else I might have missed. The only player that has seperated themselves talent wise imo is Ayton, and Center's usually struggle to put up the numbers to have ROY seasons.....All these other guys will definitely be in the running.

Luka is the generational talent here, not Ayton. I believe in general it's an amazing draft class with a ton of depth. Luka is the guy i'd bet the farm on though this year and going forward.

I had Porter winning roy but obviously he is out of commission. My 2nd choice for ROY is Colin Sexton. I think he avg like 20 pts 4 reb and 7 asts.

With Porter Jr having ANOTHER back surgery Knicks' fans must be happier by the minute that they drafted Knox instead.

I'd be impressed if Sexton gets over 4.5 ast/game.

A little, especially with Knox's dad saying that they think Kevin is still growing and could hit 6'10 or even 6'11" before too long, but I honestly just feel bad for the kid & really hope this surgery helps clean up his issues...even if only to improve his quality of life after he's done playing basketball.

Back problems really suck & even though taking him was too big of a risk for us, I'm rooting for things to work out for the kid in Denver. That team they have around Jokic is already a lot of fun to watch; so Porter Jr or IT making a big impact for them would've been a nice boost.

Celtics, Lakers, and Jazz fans are obsessed with Simmons for some reason.

Maybe if you watched the games you would find out how he impacts the game :banghead: An ignorant fan like yourself may benefit from doing so.

Can we not mention non-rookies in the 2019 ROTY thread? The never-ending anti-Simmons stuff was annoying enough last year.

If Schroder gets traded Young is going to put up some serious counting stats.

Definitely can add Trae to the race now. Especially with how Trae puts up stats.
