I didn't think McGrady should have made hall.

Literally anyone can get into the basketball Hall of Fame. Name one guy who is controversially kept out of it.

VC will get in the HOF for his dunking prowess much like Calvin Murphy got into the hall based on his fine free throw skills.

Why do people even care what Skip has to say? He is the Lavar Ball of sports writers. He's a fan of like 200 teams, he says the dumbest **** possible, and he offers zero analysis. I'm not even sure he's a sports fan. He just wants to get rich(and he's succeeded) in journalism. If he wasn't able to do it in sports he could have been a political commenator and been Glenn Beck.

At this point I actively try to avoid watching anything he's in.

I'd say it's the opposite. At one point his biggest knock was that he wasn't a team player or that he was kind of a bad guy to have around. I think he's completely shed that label. I think he's helped his candidacy, not hurt it.

It's not THAT easy to get in.

And both Webber and Big Ben had better careers than Vince.

An Unbiased Fan wrote:Disagree with Skip.......Vince has never been HOF level.

Resume:
All-NBA 2nd team - once
All-NBA 3rd team - once
Top 9 MVP finishes - never
NBA Finals - never
Conference Finals - once

What's Vince's argument other than being arguably the GOAT dunker.

In NBA history, he's:
-22nd in points
-27th in VORP
-41st in WS
-8th in 3-pointers
-44th lowest turnover percentage
-47th in steals

In the 2000/2001 season, he was:
-2nd in PER
-2nd in BPM
-1st in OBPM

For total seasons, he has:
-8 seasons with a PER over 20.0
-10 seasons averaging at least 20 PPG

He was also the leading scorer on the USA 2000 Olympic gold medal team while having the second least turnovers on the entire team.

Looks like a first-ballot HOFer to me. I don't think he'll be outclassed by the 174 players that are currently members.

94.6% likely to go to HoF.

Bayless an idiot. AGAIN.

Yet they have Manu at around 20%? Manu isn't one of the all-time greats I get it, but what he has done for basketball here and abroad, makes him a near guarantee.

VC gets in just by baptizing that poor French center at the rim in the Olympics, of course he's a HOFer. You can't play yourself out, that is dumb as hell.

Manu is a lock. The BBR calculation doesn't include any college or international play so adjust accordingly. So Manu carrying a team to a gold over the USA isn't even recognized.
