This is good news. Magic sucked as a president. Too egotistical. The way he talked about DLO after dlo left was prettty ****

Jeanie looks like an idiot right now for "having faith" in a guy who just stepped down.

Lebron causes dysfunction. You need real leadership on top or Bron will run through you.

I'm no LeBron apologist, he absolutely creates drama and dysfunction, but lets not pretend the Lakers were a model franchise of stability before he signed. That team has ALWAYS had chaos and dysfunction, even in their hayday of being amazing they've had problems up and down the franchise from the Buss siblings in-fighting, players feuding with one another, etc.

Honestly my post was merely backside praise on the Heat more than a criticism of LAL.

I think it's because he can't bring himself to fire someone. He's always been the nice guy. He probably never has had to fire someone in a professional setting. Firing someone is not an easy thing to do. With him knowing how much Jeanie likes Luke, it makes it tougher.

Given the timing that Luke would probably need to go tonight, he probably just couldn't do it...and knew if he couldn't do something he was planning to do, he should step down.

This was like the most obvious ending to this too. It was never a secret that Magic was never fully invested in the idea of running an NBA franchise and giving that the attention it really needs.

Laker fans, this is EXACTLY the type of stuff that happened in Cleveland.

Props to Riley for not dealing with it.

Top story on RealGM wiretap right now. How ironic

There's a known half-joke in Europe (at least in some countries) that when the management says the coach has their full support, that means he has a week tops left in the job.
