I figured most of the KD is insecure talk was just the usual media BS (granted I usually ignored it).

But dear lord... the comment had nothing to do with KD and was all about people doubting the warriors. Calling it divisive was utterly ridiculous.

You’re being a little coy. KD haters have been going extra hard chirping this squad is better without him and trying to invalidate all of GSW and KD’s accomplishments the last 2.5 yrs. It is divisive and that’s obviously what set him off—but seems he (accidentally?) chose sort of a clumsy post to respond to to air that out. GSW are the greatest most unselfish team of all time. It’s wack that any fan is low-key or high-key dumping on KD. Just enjoy the moments, why does everyone have to have a divisive hot take and gloat about players being injured? If it was KD’s achilles would y’all still be laughing? Takes a sad soul to be a grown man and gloat about such things. Again, just enjoy the moment.

I don't know. I didn't really see it as the fan dumping on KD personally. I thought it was more like 'look how great we are! You think we can't beat you any time we want? We can remove the BEST PLAYER ON OUR TEAM and STILL beat you!'

It seemed more like a fan bragging about how incredible his team is instead of a dig at KD. But I don't follow the KD saga very much and I'm just coming at this from an uninterested observer status.

everyone knows the guy is insecure, but the fact he's failed 2 times at Social Media to try and covertly defend himself is defend beyond comical. how does his agent Klieman allow him to make himself to look so petty. isn't this like a main function of his job - building and protecting clients images?

He's really a perfect match with Dolan. They both let critics get under their skin and respond publicly.

I can't understand why he lets this bother him and on top of that he publicizes it all over Twitter that it bothers him.

Stay off social media and focus on the task at hand which is getting healthy and preparing for the Finals. I really have no idea what he is going to do now. If he goes to New York can he handle the bashing if they can't win? If he stays in Golden State can he deal with the hypothetical they don't need you debate?

I absolutely dread GS losing to Milwaukee Game 1 if that is the situation and he is healthy enough to play.

I can see why KD reacted that way. He was reacting to @PrimeNickKerr posting "LMAAOOOOOO KD", who clearly was taking a shot at him. KD didn't respond directly to him, but he could feel the overall tone of the convo, and probably felt like they were ganging up on him, even though that one guy that he responded to wasn't ganging up on him. Stuff like that happens in confrontations all the time.

No sir. Prime Nick Kerr is a Twitter account that was quoting a screen of an exchange that happened on Instagram. EasyMoneySniper is KD's Instagram name (KDTrey5 is his Twitter). The tone of the rest of the Instagram comments may have influenced him though.

It's true that fans have no actual idea of how KD really feels about this. I'm not saying what he's doing is right or even healthy. But he is a human being and I think sometimes we forget that despite the fame, money, awesome job, etc. that these guys have feelings too. You see hyperbole once, fine, ignore it, but it seems like this has been a daily thing for a long time and I'm sure it's not easy to just tune out. I live in NYC so I see how the media can twist things, hyperbolize things, etc. It bugs me as a fan and I'm just a fan. I can't imagine what it's like for the superstars of the league.

KD no doubt contradicts himself in that he says the media stirs things up for the clicks, that they make bigger issues out of things that simply aren't big issues yet he responds to that stuff and fans the flame. I genuinely think he comes from a good place, saying that he's seen real s*it go down, so this basketball drama is nothing. I agree he should stop responding, but if you peel back the layers, I agree with what he says about the media.
