This kind of irresponsibility is a big reason why it's taking so damn long to rid of this virus. It's frustrating for those of us who have had to put our lives somewhat on hold to do what's best to protect ourselves and others.

Why is there such a need to have a big indoor party? Why can't they celebrate her 30th birthday party with a small family gathering and what's so hard about wearing a mask when around a large group of people?

Maybe if more people acted responsibly, we could have gotten rid of this virus quicker and get to a point sooner where we can live normal lives. Kyrie is just a small symptom of a much bigger problem in this country, individualism over what's better for the greater good.

Some people actually take the pandemic seriously. I didn't fly to my family for my sister's wedding. None of my family have met my 9 month old daughter. When I zoomed in to my family's Christmas, everybody was wearing a mask.

I don't know how it is where you are located, but in most places it'll be impossible to rent a party venue like the one in the video. It'll be impossible to get together with such a large group of people without getting fined, especially after you put it on social media. And if you clear those hurdles, I would wear a mask and not huddle up for pictures.

That being said, attending a birthday party is not really the issue that people take offense with. The irresponsible way in which he's doing is pretty problematic but I'm pretty sure you know they real reason why people are upset with him. Since his motivation for skipping his royally paid job while millions of other struggle was not disclosed to the public or his employer (at the time), a lot of people were still somewhat hesitant to fully call him out over it. But now that this information has come out, combined with the way he has manifested himself recently (and not so recently) it all adds up and paints a pretty clear picture of what kind of person Kyrie is.

At the end of the day he doesn't owe us anything and there are plenty of other people doing incredibly ignorant things during these times, but I really don't see how someone can defende Kyrie anymore at this point.
