Bogut, and Dray were good enough. Also when you have Iggy, Klay and Dray not many people would get to the rim in the first place.

Bogut wasn't on the 17-18 Warriors.

Draymond is not "rim protection" lol.

Funniest thing everyone lost their mind when they signed washed up Griffin and Aldridge while Lakers quitely got all-star center in Drummond....

That's because deep down, we all know Kyrie isn't a mega star based on his impact on winning.

Kyrie is a step below (a #2 on a title team) but i mostly dont trust his mentality.

ESPN has alot of influence on the way people think. people with a mind for the game knew Drummond was the better signing.

Alex Caruso and KCP on Harden AND Kyrie? Please stop.

I’m just fine with our number 1 rated defense against your three vs all the defensive liabilities you have on the floor trying to stop LeBron and AD.

 that’s a pretty funny comedy routine you got going.

Assuming full health (stars only), I will agree for a week after the Finals.

Both have to make it for the bet to count.

This isn’t the biggest issue. L Kyrie as your 3rd best player is still a pretty big luxury talent wise (ignoring other, obvious issues he brings with him). The main issue is the Nets are a pretty bad defensive team, especially when all 3 of their stars are on the floor together.

Great teams play both sides of the ball. And their other huge issue is I don’t think they’re going to be able to keep all their key players healthy throughout the playoffs.

Why do they need a center when they have super high-flying Blake protecting the rim??

Oh wait, never mind...

Lol Draymond has been the best defender for like the last ten years. Him alone guarantees solid defense. Bogut was more than good enough he was an elite (top 3ish). rim protector. Peeps need to go back and look at what happened in 2016. Thompson/Lebron feasted when he and green was out. LBJ played out of his mind game 5-7. 31 rebounds between them game 5, Thompson had 15,16, Love had 14 game 7. They were eating on the boards with not much rim protection.

Nets biggest issue is health and how in the world you systemize the big three. They suck together defensively with Harris. Irving is invisible
Durant has lost a bit of athleticism (Doesn’t have Green, Iggy, Thompson behind him)
Harden is only good in the post

Needed an elite rim protector why they gave up Allen for peanuts is beyond me lol

What defender is as good as draymond in any lineup on the nets?
How many defenders do the nets have the caliber of iguodala?

Its not just about rim protection..the nets do not have nearly the type of defensive versatility the KD era warriors had.

There is a good reason that ALL of these guys were available for free.

The Nets have enough firepower to beat most teams but they are going to have trouble with the Bucks, Sixers, and Lakers. Maybe even the Heat.

Their best defender is Bruce Brown? Claxton? Not sure if they are ready yet to play the defense needed to win championships.
