Three NFL teams, Washington, L.A., and Cleveland has 20+ players Covid positive, including the starting and backup QB's for Washington and Cleveland. The NFL has done something they said they wouldn't do: cancel/push back games.

Is this a sign of things to come for the NBA? Can the NBA keep playing games with only eight players anymore? At what point does the Commish look at the product and shut down for a week or two?

Patiently waiting for the WHO or CDC to declare this thing endemic, offer us a yearly or biannual booster and tell everyone to move on with their lives. This ish clearly isn't gonna get eradicated like smallpox so what exactly is the endgame we're going for here?

The above is not a statement on efficacy of vaccines which has clearly been proven or a knock at current government covid protocols which have undoubtedly saved thousands of lives and eased the burden on the global hospital system.

Just sitting here stewing on the inevitable while miserably and hopelessly watching 20 players a day go down

And now Mobley is in covid protocol too. What a disaster this all is. NBA needs to make a decision. Either:

1. Cancel the season
2. Put everyone in a bubble
3. Decide everyone who’s vaxxed and asymptomatic can play, regardless of whether or not they test positive

This half measure **** is just leading to a worthless product being put out there where half the roster for each team isn’t playing on any given night.
