Is he fully healthy mentally? What about that herniated disc?

Wasn't it reported last week that he was ready to return assuming no setbacks in rehab?

Does this mean he suffered a setback? What kind of setback did he suffer?

I don't think he's too far off retirement. Especially if he somehow wins that settlement against the 76ers org.

He's definitely someone that treats the sport like a day job and personally I don't see anything wrong with it.

Never would I have imagined his career playing out this way, and it seems the best (worst) is yet to come.

His behavior is acceptable by Silver and the league. The league will need to create some Simmons rules to protect themselves and ownerships in the future. Just imagine if other players decide to take the same route Ben has and if they're paid similar or more money.
