Agreed 100%.

Jordan not only had 2 breaks and massive time off, he had played "only" 45,000 total minutes through age 37.

LeBron played 63,000 total minutes prior to this season.

Comparing LeBron to Jordan is ridiculous from a physical stature. LeBron is more like a mini wilt

Same choking rituals

To be fair, the Lakers do tend to be down big pretty often and then they end up making the game close. So in theory if the definition of garbage time is being down 25-10 and then scoring a three or being down 77-57 and making a dunk and a two consecutive threes, that counts as garbage time scoring too. For example last night Lakers were down by 25 and LBJ scored about 10 points and got a bunch assists during that comeback, which by the tweet's definition was all garbage time.

No, there's no "to be fair" here. The stat is actually the opposite, LeBron scored 91.5% of his points outside garbage time last season, which is right in the mix with other stars. Someone either misunderstood or is trolling, and this poster blindly accepted such an obviously incorrect statistic.

Anyone who doesn't feel he's the GOAT is in straight up denial.

Usually garbage time means the game is out of reach with not enough time left to comeback and win the game.

For example, too say that scoring while down by 19 in the 2nd quarter is considered garbage time is absolutely absurd. There's been hundreds of comebacks for the win while being down 19 in the first half.

Well if you pay attention you get lebron stans who say Jordan quit twice but they are cool with james forming superteams lol. Fact is Jordan quit/retired twice and James formed superteams. They both happened. Cant ignore one.

One 3 peated for the franchise that drafted them while the other joined other teams and still couldn't 3 peat and had a guy in his own era who beat him 3 times with as many titles as him in less seasons.

Jordan is 1-5 against Isaiah and Bird. He had to wait for them to fall off so his super team could feast on weak competition.

Didnt James go join allstar Wade who already had a ring and FMVP and recruit allstar Bosh to form a superteam
In Miami? Didnt he leave Miami and go to Cleveland to team up with Kyrie Irving who was the top pick in the draft and a top guard in the league and Kevin Love to form another superteam? Didnt James and Rich Paul collude with Anthony Davis to get him to LA?

Jordan, Pippen, and Horace Grant is a superteam? Lol yea man keep telling yourself that

He is not the greatest player ive ever seen in my 30 plus years of watching the nba. Seems you only post on here to stan for him. Do you have anything to back your comments up with other than just saying this?

Oh for sure. Just saying that I'm that some internet posters will change definitions to fit their agenda. That said, the tweet is from @cocksources. Edit: the picture in the tweet is from cocksources.

Well the NBA is nothing without LeBron James but yes I have several reasons why I believe LeBron is the GOAT:

1. We've never seen anyone 6"9' 250-260 who can run, jump, pass, or think the game like he can.

2. He carried his team to 8 straight Finals with no breaks unlike Michelle Jordan and was the best player on all those rosters.

3. He is going to be the all-time scoring leader and is a pass first player.

4. 20 straight years of superstar play with again no breaks averaging well over 25+ points per game and being expected to compete for the title year after year.

5. He alone is a walking dynasty, 10 Finals in 20 years win or lose he got to the mountaintop.

6. He's just the most entertaining player to watch come playoff time and has carried this albatross of a league for practically 2 decades.

To put that into perspective, the difference is the equivalent of roughly six full seasons. Six. That should speak for itself.
