The lakers aren’t going to attach 1st rounders to get rid of him.

Exactly. Got to save those picks even though they'll never be as good as LeBron or AD

Yes. Do this, Lakers.

Beverley, Walker, and a 1st should get it done.

I like it a lot. He’s about 41% catch and shoot 3 which the Lakers need. He isn’t the best shooter but he’s good for LA

Rui and Sky-Walker will make things fun in LA. Without those close losses recently the lakers could be 6th in the West, we’ve got plenty left in the tank. Great move for a 23 2nd rounder and two 2nd round picks in 2029

Heat have no need for these guys. Maybe a vincent for Beverley swap would work for miami

This. Will be interesting to see how he fits in though. He'll have more wide open shots, more opportunities for lobs and cuts with guys that can pass IF he knows how to move without the ball. He'll also have less opportunities to just create for himself on offense and experiment. Those are some big IFs, the talent is obviously there, but we will see how things work out.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Nunn has been a disaster for LA. in a year and half there, he has missed a year and four months. His career is already done before it even started due to whatever mysterious injury he has. Good trade for LA.

the heat have a need to get off robinsons deal though. thats the idea, beverly is expiring, and they need insurance in case lowry cant improve his play. i dont even think picks come into play on this deal.

Rui and Russ 2.0. Happy for Hachimura. Hope he does well in the purple and gold.

I wonder if this signals that the Lakers are going all in, and there will be more trades, or If they are just trying to have pieces for the future?

I ask as a Pistons fan, eyeballing those unprotected firsts, for some shooting...

That being said, I think many will be disappointed by Hachimura... reading the thread, I get the impression people expect him to be a totally different player than the perception.

He's already 25 and a career 13/5/1... and with lots of opportunities to get minutes in Washington. I mean, he has underachieved so far in the NBA.

He will be a rotation player in LA, but I don't see him playing in crunch time.

sounds better than wiseman

This schtick is getting repetitive. Cut it out or you'll end up with a strike for baiting/trolling.

Beverly is interesting but we already have Vincent. Duncans a good shooter, once we have a system that works he will become playable again

We're just not that desperate for guys that will hurt our team.

One Last Shot wrote:It's a good trade for LA, low-risk, low-reward for them. I
just hope that they don't follow-up with a trade taking big salary like Rozier/Hayward, I rather have that cap space, one playoffs meltdown for Sixers or Nets and suddenly Kyrie or Harden might be available for close to max money. They have the perfect excuse in LA if their season fails, they got Glassman to blame there. Anyone that can score in double figures is welcome in the Lakers. Dude's 6'8 and at one point shot 44.7% in 3's with 2.9 attempts per game for a season playing just 42 games. Nunn didn't work in LA anyway and 2nd round picks isn't that valuable as some might think, you can just buy it and with salary tax teams are paying nowadays, that's just peanuts. Seems like the coach ot Wizards doesn't like Rui as his minutes declining since his rookie year. Can he already play against Clippers? Lakers will lose that game for sure as Kawhi is onfire and Clippers is undefeated since Clipsfan change his name back to OKCfanagain. Leonard averaging 33.0 in their current 2-game winning streak. West will be a bloodbath moving forward, a 5-game losing streak and you're in a Play-in spot from having a court advantage. 13 teams wanted a Playoffs spot, seems like the Play-in elimination is effective to less tanking teams.

Forgot Jordan gifted Rozier that wild 4 year, $96,258,694 contract. At no point in Rozier's career did he ever command that kind of salary.

This shows that the front office actually curved a Klutch deal and the scouting department chose Rui Hachimura over a deal for Klutch's Cam Reddish. Front office learning, good move.

Rui might be the slowest footed big man in the league and that is bad when you are 6'8 power forward, he has zero explosiveness. But this at least gives them some depth to their front court they desperately need. Short term this is good deal. Not sure if he has any potential to be much better though.
