Good move by the Grizzlies. I loved Morant before the draft but his on court rule breaking and off court behaviour makes it impossible to like him anymore. He’s young hopefully he learns from this, he isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last.

Question is, is it more exploitative nowadays than it was before or is it much the same young males with fame and money getting into trouble it’s just that social media is a communicative weapon that can catalyst exposure way quicker than in the past.

He’s obviously troubled but I’m not sure what he did that was illegal. Suspension seems harsh to me

Even if he is legal to carry, he was pointing the gun AT himself. For a team that pays him millions of dollars, I think 2 games is pretty low

It's against the CBA (the latest incident, brandishing a gun while on an away trip), but his prior incidents are definately 'illegal'.
