Marlowe is hot garbage (as usual)

Can't blame the Kings for not showing up and credit to Clippers for taking advantage. The real question is in an 82 game season, what is the percentage of games that teams have pre-decided that they are just not going to give the minimum effort that night, 10? 15? 20? (Unless of course you're a very good team like the Nuggets, you can get away with resting people etc)

Credit to the Clips. Most everyone made shots tonight and it made them nearly impossible to defend. That combined with a particularly exhausting game last night leading into a back to back, and another bad game from Sabonis was a tough recipe.
Still can't say they're a long term concern as I just don't see Kawhi staying healthy, but no reason to think they can't right the ship in a real way this year.

Its kind of human nature to pace yourself or quit when you feel like theirs no chance to win if you have another opportunity on the horizon. Until we get those robot players, it will always be that way.

Clips on paper should have at least 2 chips in the PG era. Its been a strange last few years for LA
Its fun to poke fun at the clippers since "lol not the lakers" but they have had a solid team for a while.

Yes yes, that's my point. Only rare times when you have the Jordans and Kobes and those Bulls/Warriors teams that ran the ground each game every game. In a way those Spurs dynasty teams always looked competitive each night (well more than the current "load managed" teams) and they did it with depth and better coaching i guess.

Raps won their back to back tonight against the Suns. Kings without Keegan Murray actually matchup poorly with the Clippers from a defensive perspective.

TBH, these 2 (Kings/Clips) teams will most likely make the playoffs.

The Kings will end up among the contenders for at least a first round homecourt advantage. The Clippers might be in the play-in rounds.

Seems about right.
Clips play in or low seed.
Kings 2nd round or WCF at most.
Suns or Nuggs most likely wins the West.

I think the Kings need a trade for another big (an upgrade of Harrison Barnes) that can play beside Sabonis. If they could get Siakam, then they got a chance. If not, then they need Murray to continue to improve big time. His breakout season might not come until next season though, at least seeing how this one is going. I think the Kings as constituted probably lose in round 1 again.

Watching Lebron/KD/CP3 struggle to keep hair on their head is crazy. These dudes still in their 30's and they going bald. They need to take some B12 supplements build those hair follicles strong maybe massage some hemp seed oil in that scalp. Cmon guys don't go out like this. Lebron be looking crazy in those close up postgame interviews.
