Celtics have already won. Its just a matter of going through the motions. They are not losing a 7 game series. Its just not going to happen.

Yes, there are some competitors. But Sixers, Wolves, Bucks, Celtics, Nuggets are the only teams that have a chance. The top teams are just too stacked this year. Outside of those top 5 no other team has a chance of winning.

An though you could presume it comes to injuries, I postulate that the season is already over. An we may proceed to 2024-25.

Time to talk about next year.

Tatum and Brown will disappear when it matters most, like they always do. KP will probably be hurt, like he always is. Celtics will lose like they always do. That’s what history has shown? Can they change that? Sure, but I doubt it. I don’t see any team beating a healthy Nuggets in the playoffs.

Bos has the best team this year however any injuries to Porz or Holliday during the playoffs and suddenly they are last years team. Idk why the OP is so confident given their recent history.

Only 30 game sample but the Celtics are controlling most games wire to wire. There last game vs LA i believe the lakers had the lead for a minute and half at most while the Celtics were close to a double digit lead most of the game. In most their games, when they do trail it is usually within 1 possession and it's not for long. Maybe it means nothing in the long run but i think it is an indication of something a lot more.

3 of their 6 losses came in OT. Im not arguing to count them as possible wins but it seems like the Celtics are finding sucess in keeping teams close when they struggle or winning comfortable when playing to their level. That will be tough to beat in the playoffs.

I think the Sixers are playing at a similar level and Embiid is playing like the best player so for me it is between those 2 teams.

Realgm seems to focus more on one blowout loss than an 18-0 home record. Of course the celtics definitely have a lot to prove come playoff time but they've been the best and most consistent team so far this year.
