His injuries are legit.
It's sad because injury free, he'd be the greatest player of this generation.

Even when injury free he got swept in the first round.

He's been dealing with injuries since he came into the league. If he had an injury free career like Shaq did, then Embiid would be on the Mt Rushmore of greatest players. Embiid has been dealing with swollen knees for years. He can barely dunk now because his knee is shot.

Yikes. I’ve always thought the Embiid criticism has been a bit over the top, as no one gets injured on purpose, but these other things Maxey brought up are important. He’s got to be better at leading this far into his career.

Is this loss to Memphis with Embiid, George & Maxey a new low for the Sixers?

He is a frontrunner and soft…. We all know this. No reason for anyone to believe in him to be a successful playoff performer with what he has shown thus far. He is a petulant man child.

Watch it Maxey, Embiid might flop into you like he did Danny Green.

My Rushmore lmao.

It wasn’t just injuries. It was conditioning and mindset too. Greatness is more than just sheer talent. You don’t get on Mt Rushmore with just talent. There’s gotta be an inner drive to do everything in your power to be the best you can be. Embiid just doesn’t have what it takes to be great.

Not really. He's a dirty player so he gets zero sympathy from me. The criticism is warranted and not over the top.

I knew there would be something to find from google image search and this 76ers hype image from 8 years ago didn't disappoint!

This guy just isn’t serious. Would hate for him to be the “star” on my team.

Sounds like Embiid is more mad at the leak than worrying about being on time and actually you know, being a professional.

Interesting that Biid and Ben Simmons are two of the most entitled and delusional players in the league

His injuries are legit.

The only horrid takes are the ones that have claimed he's arguably the best in the world/a legit top 5 player/MVP caliber olayer.

The talent is there. But the atittude and stat padding relegates him to a top 10 guy.

It's about time that this con is finally ending.

This is exactly the kind of take I was referring to earlier.

Embiid doesn't look like the same player out there. He is getting better but doesn't have the lift, isn't explosive, isn't chasing down blocks, and barely dunks the basketball anymore. He is a shell of what he once was. If this is the version of Embiid we are going to see going forward, then I would agree he will never or should never be in the legit conversation for an MVP award going forward.

But this is not what he always was; even tonight, when he scored like 30, he wasn't moving well. He wasn't going hard on defence or at the basket; his knees looked completely shot, and he still was the best sixer on the court by a country mile. If you want to take this version of Embiid and pretend that this is what Embiid always was when he was winning/being in the conversations for MVP's and being the best two-way player in the league. I don't know what to tell you, but you're just out there lying.

Or grab and twist the knee like Embiid did to Robinson:

Just a whiny, dirty loser. :nonono: :banghead:

It's only a matter of time before Jojo really cracks and says something really insulting publicly about Sixers fans and the entire city of Philadelphia and their will be a point of no return and both parties heading towards a bitter divorce.

Dunno which US pro sports team is currently more in crisis, The Sixers or Dallas Cowboys?

That "It's kind of annoying having to deal with the same things over and over and over" bit is pretty telling as well. Newsflash: if every season over your career you've been dealing with a poisonous locker room atmosphere, and you're the supposed "leader" of said locker room, then just maybe the problem is...you.

Should have happaned Game 4, when Knicks fans took over their arena, Embiid laid an egg, and managed to call out the fanbase for not cheereing loud enough.

The injuries are for sure legit, as are Zion's or Murray's.
People are more questioning their conditioning and dedication to take care of their bodies.
