I don’t watch them night in and out but they have two solid swings with Chet before big money kicks in. If they find those finals either season (if not both/win) then hopefully ownership buckles up this time around. This team has too much future.

But they could also draft 26 seven footers over the next few summers and see what happens.

Chet's phsyical build and injury histoy alone should mean that it that's the only two options, smart's money is on keeping J-Dub

It’s feasible to keep them both for four or so more seasons without a ton of issues.

The picks allow for swapping out cost controlled role players.

OKC fans - Who gets squeezed out salary wise eventually between Chet and Williams? Like who do you prefer to keep?

Tough choice but a 6"8 wing with handles who can guard 1-5 while giving you 20 a night is invaluable. Then you factor in Chet's injury concerns and that seals it for me..

I don't know, you guys obviously watch them more than I do, and it's a very good point about his injury history. But it's probably a lot easier to find a player of Williams' profile than Holmgren's. Tonight being a perfect example. He's murdering Boston.

Better yet, maybe the owner should finally pay up and do whatever he can to keep the core of this team together. For Presti to build a generational team, have it blow up and then put a squad of this caliber together should be rewarded.
