It all depends on Luka. If he can get back to 100%, the Lakers are absolutely contenders, even being thin upfront.

He still looks slow, pudgy, and gimpy. Playoffs are 15 games away. We'll see.

KD got y'all fooled. He's not who we think he is.

I feel sorry for whoever overpays for his services this off-season.

Man KD really on his period this season as nothing has gone their way. Top 15 ATG great but simply not a leader.

Didn't know Koloko is such a terrible finisher, one of the worst I've ever seen.

Don’t matter what jersey he’s wearing, Luka owns prime real estate in Phoenix.

Taking that into account that trade really was just out for year Davis for Luka, Jesus Christ.

Give it up for Grimes though, he really has made the most of his opportunity in Philly averaging 21 over his last 10 and looking fantastic. Christie on the other hand...

Dont thnk Dallas traded him because of Christe. They traded him because they didn't want to pay him.

Actually Grimes asked for out. His agent talked to Nico and made it happen. He also talked **** about how Nico treated Luka on his way out lol.

He's also 36 and will be 37 before next season starts. Anyone giving up a ton of assets for him deserves the criticism that will be coming their way by January.

Or, he's as wide as a refrigerator, so he can take one step to the left, or right, and effectively shut off a path.

True. And he's long. Both things help on defense.

It’s pretty bad. I was told he had great defensive instincts but I haven’t seen him do much of anything at a decent level

The only team I think he's the missing piece for is Denver. Other than that I can't see anyone else.

Teams like Houston/Minnesota aren't winning anything with a KD trade imo.

Nico will never get another GM job. What an idiot.

If it was the owner that really wanted the trade (doubtful), I would have quit before committing career suicide.

Good for Beal. I would fight hard to get a no-trade clause and I had one I would never accept a trade.

There is no way that trade gets done without the Owner approving it.

100% Nico is the fall guy. Hasn't the owner gone on radio shows talking about why they traded Luka? He wanted superstars with great work ethic or whatever it was.

Nico is an idiot because of how he acted after the trade got made. Laughing around and being an idiot. He should have just shut up.

But there is zero chance of that trade being made if the owner doesn't approve of it.
