Why leave Gordon or Porter Jr open? They love spamming 3s, and your team should be ready for it.

Dude it's nothing considering what we european fans experience, with all games every day, year after year, starting middle of the night. Still getting up to watch though!

I’ve never met a Knicks fan here who’s actually a New Yorker or visit NY at least :banghead:

We're blessed.

I'm an East Coast transplant who lived half a decade in the midwest before moving to California. I'm debating moving back.

There are lots of things I miss about the tri-state area and Minnesota but start times for sporting events out here are so much better.

Imagine being in London and tip off is 01:30AM and doest really tip off till 01:45. At least it's not 02:30 like first two games of this series.

Born and raised New Yorker and I've lived in LA going on 20 years. I miss the East Coast too, but not for sports (or the stock market).

Agreed. Nothing like waking up and the market opens at 630. I’m normally up at 5am for work since I cover the east coast.

If Murray and Joker can still make shots to end of game, this series is going to game 7. I don't know if they have recovered enough to win this game. That's why I think Nuggets need to get other guys going in this game.

Porter should not be playing right now. He should be on a ridiculously short leash.

I'm index fund for life so this isn't a big deal but honestly for me the biggies of California are:
1. weather (I think seasons are like exercise, good for you but annoying. I'm the lazy ****.)
2. sporting start times
3. Mexican food

Downsides
1. Cost of Living: I live in SF. It is mindbloggling how bad it is out here.

Murray is worse than MPJ?

I don't think so. At the very least, Murray can contribute to the offense. He's averaging 21 ppg in the OKC series.

MPJ is averaging 7 points on 28% shooting.

You are not a frequent follower of the Nuggets. Its funny how all the people who are more or less casual on the Nuggets keep telling us - the fans who watch every game, sometimes multiple times - who is useful on that roster and who isnt. I'd be interested to hear from a single known Nuggets fan who likes to keep Murray on the roster at this point.

Yes he can contribute and win a game for you. He does so in maybe 20% or less of the games. MPJ probably comparable. But unlike MPJ, for the other 80%+, he will still dominate the ball and dribble the air out of it and take dumb shot after dumb shot while he has the best player on the planet patiently waiting for a pass. Its kind of Westbrook and KD. Dont be fooled by scoring numbers. He does not play any defense, has a tendency to whine and not run back when his shot isnt falling. Of course he is constantly pretending to play hurt.

If you think he's good...would you want him on your teams' roster then for your #2?

No, I wouldn't ideally want Murray as my #2 because he's too inconsistent but no way in hell would I ever want MPJ to be that #2. Like you said, Murray still shows up in the playoffs and will win you a few games. When has MPJ been the best player in a playoff game, let alone being the absolutely worst player on the court like he has been already many times this playoffs. Yes I get that he's 'injured' but that doesn't change the fact that he routinely comes up short in the playoffs compared to his regular season numbers.

While I type this, Murray has 9 points in 5 mins while Porter has 0 points (surprise).

Who do you trust more to perform for your team in an elimination game?

Say what you want about Porter, notice how the Thunder have to defend with him on the floor. They can't shrink the floor because even in his injured state, he's still a perimeter threat.
