It's surreal.

I remember him rushing and bricking all over the place in OKC against this same team, you would think he'd be salty as hell and want to take them out the following season.

Dam realGM at its best, so hateful

Unbelievable performances from Lebron, he's the best, he was GOAT. Kyrie, KD, Curry all clutch, incredible moments. JR, Love, Draymond, Andre all put up classic role performances. They all gave their all, thx for the good games.

Keep on crying guys

I was thinking this all half.

Outside of Lebron, the whole Cavs roster is trash. I'm including Kyrie, because as good as his numbers are and as incredible as some of his shots are, that dude is a low IQ, hero ball player that doesn't make his team better.

And man does Kevin Love stink. If he shows up in games 3 and 5 CLE is up 3-2 with a chance to clinch at home.

Makes you appreciate how good Lebron really is, but he should have never left Pat Riley.

Cavs issue is that they are completely built around Bron playing PG. They have no idea how to run an offensive set without him and their team's skillsets are only complementary to him. Without Bron they get stagnant and are so mediocre on defense that when they play a team who isn't an ECF pretender they look pedestrian.

You look at that roster and they have quality. They just lack playmaking. It is perfectly tailored around LeBron, but when he sits they are horrible.

Think about Patrick McCaw's life right now....19 drafted onto a STACKED team, but still getting minutes and contributing to a ring in your rookie year, crazy.

If you were the Cavs GM (Lebron) would you trade Kyrie and Thompson for Wiggins and Rubio. I know this would never happen, but curious what others would think. Just a thought.

He wasn't even the Cavs' priority on defense, they gave him the Harrison Barnes treatment, and credit to him, he capitalized in a big way, but that doesn't really scream superstar to me. And it seemed that Curry had more of an impact for the Warriors, just like LeBron had more of an impact for the Cavs. Durant is gonna be FMVP because he scored the hell out of the ball and played good defense, but it's hard to ignore that there were two guys that quite honestly seemed to affect the game more (LeBron and Curry), and that Durant wasn't even really the main focus of the opposing defense for the vast majority of the series.

I really dislike the way society evaluates players. Social media has only made the prevalence of hot takes even worse.

- The "championships or nothing" argument needs to die.
- Box score numbers need to be evaluated with a more critical lens.
- The methodology of advanced statistics such as PER need to be understood so that people know what they actually mean rather than spouting them as self-evident, infallible metrics for understanding the game.

I certainly wouldn't take shots at his mother. That's the definition of low-class.
